This year we will focus on integration and collaboration: between clinicians and physicists, between junior and senior researchers, and between the fundamental and applied sciences. In addition to interactive scientific sessions and dedicated networking opportunities, we present an educational programme highlighting both well-established and novel MRI techniques and applications. Of course, traditional highlights can again be found in the programme, such as the Sir Peter Mansfield Lecture, the Hot Topic Debate, and the Roundtable Discussion. The city of Edinburgh boasts stunning architecture including the mediaeval Old Town, the Georgian New Town and of course its famous castle. It is a compact, vibrant city with a huge range of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. The University of Edinburgh is ranked among the world's top 20 research universities and has a strong tradition in medicine. With easy access to the countryside, day trips to the mountains and lochs of the Scottish Highlands are highly recommended. So come and join us for many opportunities to discuss the latest technology or learn about the latest clincial applications, and most importantly to meet and make friends within the field of magnetic resonance in the stunning city of Edinburgh!
