Andrew® Metro Cell Antenna Update Global/External CommScope has recently added the NH65S-DG-F0M and the NH65PS-DG-F0M to its portfolio of metro cell antennas and also released a metro cell antenna mount MC-MNT-TS1. Dual Band Metro Cell Family: NH360QS-DG-F0M is a 2.4 ft. canister antenna with 12 in. diameter. Inside are three columns of elements, which are combined to one sector with a pattern shape similar to an omni antenna. This shape has nulls between the peaks. By steering the antenna null into the direction of the external PIM source, PIM can be suppressed by up to 30 dB. Under the top cap is an internal GPS antenna which can be used for LTE time synchronization. This antenna also has manual, electrical tilt on the high band for superior interference containment. Two variants of this antenna allow flexibility in site designs where space for cables might be limited. NH360QS-DG-F0M has internal diplexers, which means the antenna has only two RF ports; NH360QS-G-F0M has four ports and no internal diplexers. In order to provide a patterns shape that works well when installed next to a wall or at a corner of a building without creating much interference inside the building, use the heart-shaped or half-omni antenna (NH180QS-DG-F0M). To cover shopping streets or narrow corridors, utilize CommScope’s back-to-back (or peanut shaped) version (NH65PS-DG-F0M) which is two beams combined directed at 180 degrees. That beam shape allows covering the street while limiting the interference into nearby buildings. One of the most flexible antennas for many different applications is the standard one sector metro cell flat panel antenna (NH65S-DG-F0M). This model is also available in 1.2 ft. length (NH65T-DG-F0). Dual Band Metro Cell Product Highlights • • • • • • Supports 700MHz/850MHz/AWS/PCS Narrow 12 in. diameter for low visibility and easier site approval Excellent RF pattern control with manual electrical down tilt on the high band (0-16º) Enhanced performance and superior data throughput through high gain and stable pattern performance for the entire tilt range Internal GPS antenna for LTE time synchronization Internal diplexers to reduce required space for additional cables www.commscope.com PB-108985-EN ©2015 CommScope, Inc.
