Join the Jasper County Conservation
Department on Wednesday, March 11th
for our monthly OWLS program. The
Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors program
or OWLS for short is a conservation
program that encourages seniors to
stay active and continue learning
about our natural world.
This month’s program is on maple
sugaring. The presentation will include
the history of maple sugaring, how
maple syrup is made, and will wrap
up with a pancake breakfast. The
presentation will start at 9:00 AM at the
Jasper County Armory/Annex building.
We are requesting pre-registration for
this program to prepare supplies.
