Support Services invites groups or organizations
to submit proposals for a group grant to operate
the Volunteer Centre.
The purpose of the Volunteer Centre is to enhance
volunteerism within the Town of Rocky Mountain
House, Clearwater County and Village of Caroline. In
2009, a Needs Assessment identified that groups and
organizations are struggling to find enough volunteers.
The Volunteer Centre will continue creating awareness
within the community about volunteer opportunities,
trends, training, and themes. It will also promote helpful
tools and resources around volunteerism in the
community, recruitment strategies, training, placement
services and recognition. It is a place where citizens,
non-profits, groups and organizations can go for
resources, information and support.
