President’s report:
It has been almost one year since I took on the role of President
with the Meadowlark Community League. In that time I've been
learning quite a lot, but answers to several questions continue to
evade both the board and myself.
The question we keep asking is: how to engage the residents
within our neighbourhood? We are trying a few new ideas with
the Chirp (I've been enjoying the You've Been Chirped section),
and are working on updating our website to make it more
informative and user-friendly.
As part of this website updating, we are contemplating adding the
Presidents Message as a “blog” where residents can add their
comments to the ideas presented. I have received several
email/phone comments following past messages and would like to
be able to share those with the rest of the community. Hopefully
this will give us another avenue to share ideas and concerns
within our neighbourhood and engage our residents.
