Our hydraulic crane service is noted as being the largest
in NC and range in size from 7.5 ton to our flagship
Terex-Demag AC500-2 600 ton crane. Our cranes
are dispatched from a state-of-the-art computerized
communication center, utilizing Cranimation and
3D Lift Planning systems, that enables us to achieve
quicker response times to our customers.
Edwards is a full-service industrial general contractor
providing industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing
and general construction services throughout the
southeast to a variety of industries.
Our industrial fabrication and finishing facilities are
equipped to fabricate of structural steel, ASME code
vessels, heavy ductwork and large assemblies requiring
heavy metal fabrication. We also offer stainless and
specialty alloy welding and fabrication, custom
laser cutting, state-of-the-art CNC plate cutting and
punching.
Engineering / Design / Planning
Trucking - Specialized Hauling Services
Our fleet of trucks and trailers are available 24 hours
a day for specialized hauling services. Edwards also
offers specialized hauling services for oversized and
overweight loads.
Our detailers work with the most advanced computeraided detailing system available. The SDS/2 3D
detailing software by Design Data is a totally
integrated software package that is tailored for
structural steel construction and fabrication.
ASME Services
Edwards holds ASME A, S, U and PP stamps and a
National Board R stamp. We are authorized and
experienced in fabrication and repair of boilers, power
piping, and pressure vessels in accordance with the
latest editions and addenda of the ASME Code.
Pipe Fabrication Services
Our pipe fabrication facility utilizes a production
line philosophy with pipe passing through a CNC
controlled pipe cutting station and automated pipe
and tube welding centers. With cutting edge equipment
working in sync, we produce high quality welds in
minimal time all while cutting cost to our customers.
Industrial Electrical
Rigging Services
Our team of experienced riggers and millwrights,
combined with an array of custom rigging solutions,
including our Versa-Lifts and other specialized lifting
devices, are ready to solve the most demanding rigging
projects.
Our industrial electrical and automation division
provides control system design, automated control
system design, industrial electrical installations and
24-hour emergency support. Our UL Registered Panel
Shop and qualified team are available to assist in the
design and manufacture of control panels, perform
preventative maintenance and general electrical repair.

Duct Fabrication
We are committed to supplying quality duct and
fittings to the HVAC industry. Our state of the art,
automated duct forming line produces standard
and custom industrial, commercial and residential
ductwork products.
