Important notes to entrants and teachers:
Performer must bring a copy of music for adjudicator on night (please see T&Cs).
Please attach proof of age with entry form (i.e. photocopy of passport or birth certificate).
Piece being played must be under 3 minutes.
Performance spaces limited – first come, first served.
Please arrive by 6:30PM. Doors will open from 5PM.
Coffee, tea and refreshments available from 6PM.
*Late entry fee $20 per competitor. Free Entry if entered before 24th April 2015.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Australian Piano Warehouse reserves the right to: (a) refuse an entry; (b) cancel a section (e.g. due to lack of
entries).
2. An entrant may supply the adjudicator with an unlicensed copy of the piece provided that:
(a) the original is used by the entrant for performance or held at the venue for inspection and
(b) the executive committee or its delegate destroys the copy immediately after the adjudication.
3. Entrants of competition take part at their own risk. Australian Piano Warehouse does not accept
responsibility for any accident or personal loss or injury, however caused.
4. Age, where specified for any section, shall be the age on the first day of the competition.
5. Any entrant wishing to withdraw from the competition must notify Australian Piano Warehouse as soon as
possible.
6. Late entries will be accepted up to a week after the closing date of a competition and must be accompanied
by the additional late entry fee of $20. Only under special circumstances and at the discretion of the Australian
Piano Warehouse will any further late entries be accepted.
7. The Australian Piano Warehouse will not be liable for any copyright infringement relating to the submission
of photocopies. Entrants should be aware of the rules of copyright.
8. Filming or photographing of your own child is permitted. Australian Piano Warehouse reserves the right to
film or photograph performers on the night of competition. If we wish to use the relevant footage for
promotional purposes, Australian Piano Warehouse will contact the parents accordingly.
9. All entries are received on this condition and in the spirit of friendly competition upon which the Australian
Piano Warehouse is based, and no dispute shall become the subject of any appeal at law.
10. The adjudicator's decision shall be final.
11. Entrants shall not practise in the performing space for their competition on the competition days.
12. All prizes are awarded at the discretion of the adjudicator.
13. 8-12 age group prizes are as follow:
First: $250 Second: $100 Third: $50
13-16 age group Prizes are as follows:
First: $500 Second$200 Third $100.
14 All prizes will be payed within 7 days of competition.
