Subject: Implementation of deviation settlement mechanism and related matters at IntraState Level.
Ref: Your letter No. GETCO/SLDC/Comm./214/13.01.2014
This has a reference to your letter No. GETCO/SLDC/Comm./214/13.1.2014 regarding
implementation of Deviation Settlement Mechanism and related matters notified by Central
Electricity Regulatory Commission vide its Notification dated 6.1.2014 which was made
effective from 17.2.2014.
Hon'ble Commission considered the content of letter and the CERC (Deviation Settlement
Mechanism and related matters) Regulations, 2014, subsequent correspondence made in this
regard as well as presentations made by SLDC from time to time and the information submitted
by GETCO/SLDC on above subject matter as sought by the Commission. Based on the
aforesaid, the Commission has decided to adopt the provisions of CERC (Deviation Settlement
Mechanism and related matters) Regulations, 2014 in the State of Gujarat from 17.2.2014 for the
Intra-state entities. Accordingly, the SLDC shall revise the energy accounting if, necessary and
shall intimate to the entities concerned.
