PANSKURA BANAMALI COLLEGE PANSKURA R.S. : PURBA MEDINIPUR ADMISSION TO THE BACHELOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION (B.P.ED.)COURSE IN THE SESSION 2015-2017 1. Duration of the course : Two years 2. Conditions of Eligibility:(a) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter College /Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Govt. of India. OR (B) Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45% marks. OR (c) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied Physical Education as compulsory / elective subject. OR (D) Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/ Inter University/State competitions or secured 1st , 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/ Inter- zonal/District /School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. (e) Bachelor’s degree with participation in International competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR (F) Graduation with 45% marks and at last three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches). The relaxation in the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and the reservation of seats for SC/ST categories shall be as per the rules of the State Government. 3. Candidates who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission, even if he/she is provisionally selected for admission by mistake. 4. Applicants are requested to carefully read the instructions given in the prescribed application form. Students will be admitted against SC/ST/Quota: G.O. No. 905-TW/EC dt.12.9.95 /SC/OMR-1 (1) 5. For the candidates under the SC/ST Quota SC/ST certificates must be obtained from a competent authority in name of the candidates themselves. Self- attested copies must be attached to the application forms. If the candidate is selected, the original certificates will have to be produced for verification at the time of interview and admission. Application Forms are available from the Physical Education Department of the college. The candidates can avail their form on and from 10-3-2015 to 31-3-2015 (Time : 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
