The service is free and followed by a catered Chinese dinner with a presentation by Cantor Lowe on “The Jews of China.” Price for dinner: $18/adult, $10/ages 4-11, free under 3. Rabbi Ariella Rosen Rabbi Ariella Rosen is a graduating Rabbinical student from the Jewish Theological Seminary. She grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut, and currently calls Brooklyn, New York, home. She completed her undergraduate studies at List College, earning degrees in Midrash and Psychology from the Jewish Theological Seminary and Columbia University, respectively. In addition to her coursework, Ariella is grateful to have had the opportunity to train in a variety of Rabbinic capacities, including the Pulpit, Hillel, Camp Ramah, and Chaplaincy. She has worked in several formal and informal educational settings with learners of all ages and backgrounds, and has a passion for Special Education as well. She loves to learn, and is continuing her study of Midrash with an MA in that field. Ariella plays ultimate frisbee, loves farmers’ markets, and is beyond thrilled to be spending what promises to be a special Shabbat with the Adath Israel community.
