The better you are acquainted with your car, the easier you will find
it is to handle. We would therefore like to offer you the following
advice:
Please read the Owner's Handbook before setting out in your new
MINI. Please also read the integrated Owner's Handbook in your
vehicle. It contains important notes on how to operate the car,
enabling you to derive maximum benefit from the technical advantages of your MINI. It also contains useful information which
will help you to uphold both your MINI’s operating safety and its
full resale value.
This documentation provides you with information on the software
update.

This document provides you with information
on the software update.
In addition, read the information in the Owner’s Handbook Navigation, Entertainment,
Communication under Software Update.
The contents of the software update depend
on the version of the software installed in your
vehicle.
You can find detailed information on the soft‐
ware update and the devices supported in the
description below.
One of the following versions will be installed
depending on which vehicle you have:
MN-2.255.60, TN-2.255.62
MN-2.39.60, TN-2.39.62
Conditions
The software update is available only for cer‐
tain vehicles equipped with a USB audio interface.
Following installation of the software update,
the new software version is displayed in the
vehicle:
1. “Settings”
2. “Software update”
3. “Show current version”
Notes
Once the software has been updated, the vehicle must be switched off.
Data transferred from external devices are synchronised, if applicable.
Tracks or playlists played before the software
update must be selected again.
Go to www.mini.com/connectivity to find out
whether your vehicle is supported.

The software update is available only for cer‐
tain vehicles equipped with a USB audio interface.
Manual changes to music files might be de‐
leted if the software is restored or updated by
the service partner.
Installation
If the following menu item is not displayed correctly after the update, deactivate Bluetooth
for a short time during the installation:
“ConnectedDrive”.
Installation of the software update requires
agreement with the terms and conditions of
use.

For the purposes of installation, save the soft‐
ware update file in the main directory of a USB
device and connect the USB device to the USB
