The first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify. If the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward. Horses must be registered with the BSHA and all Owners, Exhibitors and Riders must be Association Members. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. Horses competing at the RIHS and qualifying shows in Hunter sections of The Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain at their Affiliated Shows cannot compete in Hack, Cobs and Riding Horse classes at the same show, on the same day and vice versa. This does not apply to SHB (GB) Ridden Sport Horse classes. The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider and Amateur rosette in each Open class and a Champion rosette for each section (with the exception of Open Working Show Horse & HOYS Hunter Classes). BSHA National Championships 11th – 13th September 2015. Classes 1 – 13 are qualifiers for the BSHA National Championships. The three highest placed prize winners will qualify to compete in the BSHA Classic Supreme Classes at the National Championship Show in September. Classes 17 & 29 – 34 are qualifying classes for the RIHS. In the Amateur Hunter classes the two highest placed Smalls, the two highest placed Lightweights, the two highest placed Middleweights and the two highest placed Heavyweights will qualify. The two highest placed horses in the Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight, Small Classes will qualify to enter at the RIHS. No horse lower than second will qualify. In the Working Hunter class the three highest placed horses will qualify. No horse lower than third will qualify. Only horses on the Show Hunter Register are eligible to enter. QUALIFICATION SYSTEM: The 1st to 6th will receive a coloured Qualification Card, if a competitor has already qualified then the card MUST be handed down the line. Competitors only need one qualification card for in hand and one qualification card for ridden classes. NEXT STAGE SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS – You can only compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Second Round Qualifiers, if you are a 2015 member and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd and hold the 2015 membership/registration card. Once you have qualified at a First Round Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifiers. Champion receives £200 INTERNATIONAL OUTDOOR ARENA – B SHB (GB) HORSE FIRST RIDDEN SPORT CLASSES General Rules: a) These classes are for the young athletic horses that have the confirmation and movement to go to the top of their sphere. b) All horse must exceed 148cms. c) Rider must have proof of horse’s age. d) All ages date from 1st January. e) Any rider can present up to 3 horses in each class. f) Horses come into the ring individually and give a short ridden display of walk, trot, canter, of approx 1 minute, to be awarded marks out of a possible 20. Then proceed straight into the jumping phase, to be awarded marks out of a possible 10 per fence. g) All horses, unless eliminated are required to come back without saddles, for conformation assessment to be awarded marks out of a possible 50. h) All entries in Sport Horse Classes must be on the Society’s Basic Identity Record or Stud Book. Owners & Riders must be current SHB(GB) Members Jumping Phase: a) The jumping phase should be a mixture of colored and rustic obstacles and is designed to produce a minimum of 8 jumping efforts. b) Each jumping effort is marked out of 10 at the Judge’s discretion. c) There is no set penalty for a pole down or a run out, but 3 refusals results in elimination. d) Fall of horse or rider results in elimination. The two highest placed horses qualify for the RIHS. RIHS HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIP – 1st and 2nd from classes 30 – 32 to compete. CLASS 33 SHB (GB) AMATEUR LIGHTWEIGHT HUNTER – RIHS This class is held under the SHB(GB) 2015 Rules. Mare or gelding 4 years old or over, capable of carrying 79.5kgs (12 stone 7lbs) and under. Small Hunter to be included in this category. The two highest placed Small Hunters and the two highest placed Lightweights will qualify for the RIHS. CLASS 34 SHB (GB) AMATEUR HEAVYWEIGHT HUNTER – RIHS This class is held under the SHB(GB) 2015 Rules. Mare or gelding 4 years old or over, capable of carrying over 79.5kgs (12 stone 7lbs). Middleweight Hunter to be included in this category. The two highest placed Middleweights and the two highest placed Heavyweights will qualify for the RIHS. All bookings of the Centre, once confirmed, are liable to a 50% cancellation fee should they be moved or cancelled Cancellation of a full day without 3 months written notice, or a part day without a weeks’ notice will make the total fee due. The College EC reserve the right to cancel, add to or amend any of the Competitions as they see fit due to weather conditions etc. The ability to tie up horses to the outside of boxes is a privilege not a right. This practice WILL BE BANNED if horses continue to be left unattended, or are allowed to dig up the lorry park surface. No horses to be tied to buildings or fencing. No haynets outside horseboxes Once an entry has been made, withdrawal will entail forfeiture of that fee. Fees will be liable immediately for any telephone / fax or e-mailed entry made after the closing date. Non declaration does not remove the requirement to pay the entry fee due The decision of the judge is final. Neither The College Equestrian Centre, not any of its representative or staff shall be held liable for any accident, injury or damage or loss whatsoever, howsoever caused to any person animal or property at any time. Please dispose of your litter thoughtfully in bins provided. Please do not muck out into car parks. Please ask organizers before riding on grass. Any lungeing is by prior permission only, and is never permitted indoors or outdoors. You are politely requested to pick up all droppings on arenas after your animal. Any damage to any property owned or hired or rented by or from The College EC apart from normal wear and tear will be paid for at cost at the time of damage Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, and prohibited around the stable block or in arenas. All dogs must be kept on leads. Dogs are not permitted on the veranda. If dog owners do not clean up their own dogs mess, this privilege will be removed. No dogs in arenas. All horse and ponies must only move through areas shared with pedestrians at walk. No competitor / rider shall allow a stallion for which they are responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure competitors, officials or other members of the public are not put at risk of injury The College EC reserves the right to refuse entry to class and show ground. Children must be under adult supervision at all times All competitors/riders must wear correctly fastened hats to current approved safety standards and be correctly and appropriately dressed at all times when riding. Formal objections must be made within 30 minutes of event, accompanied by a deposit of £25, forfeited if the objection is over ruled. Constructive criticism is welcomed Entry constitutes an agreement to be bound by and abide by these Rules. We required payment in advance for each clinic (this minimizes our administration costs and therefore clinic prices). No space will be held without appropriate fee Payment will only be refunded on production of a vet/doctors certificate, providing reasonable notice is given, and the place can be re-allocated. If a clinic place cannot be re-allocated, payment in full must be made. Total fee can be transferred (once) to another clinic. No monies will be refunded for cancellations within 48 hrs of event. Every effort will be made to offer your place if a waiting list exists. Clinic times will be available 48 hours before the clinic by calling 01234 708400. Just after Kimbolton turn right on to B660. Keysoe is 5 miles A1 ‐ Turn off right at Buckden roundabout, past Grafham Water to Great Staughton. Turn right (B645 Kimbolton) After Stonely turn left (B660 Pertenhall & Keysoe) Keysoe is 5 miles. From The South M1 ‐ Exit J13 for Bedford (A421), continue past Bedford on the bypass to exit A4280 Bedford / Renhold / Barford. Stables are to be left totally empty of bedding and swept clean. Boxes are allocated on a “first come first served basis”. Once a booking has been accepted, refunds will not be given unless the box can be re-let (£10 admin charge will be levied per box).Bedding will be either delivered to your box or available from a central point –please check before departure. Bedding payments can be made on stabling cheque (please check bedding prices, a these can fluctuate). NO PAPER BEDDING on site please, but you are welcome to bring your own bedding.
