The proposed FY2016 Prince William County budget proposes the elimination of Virginia Cooperative Extension, Prince William. Prince William County 4-H is the youth component of that program and would be eliminated under this proposal. In years past, when cuts have been proposed, it has been the voice of 4-Hers and 4-H volunteers that have brought the benefit of the 4-H program to the forefront as one which benefits youth, volunteers and most especially the community. You can view the proposed county budget here:http://www.pwcgov.org/government/dept/budget/ Documents/Proposed%20FY%202016%20Budget--web.pdf Keep an eye for Town Meetings scheduled in your neighborhood and plan to attend!
