will be a wide range of structured leagues,
doubles as well as singles, drop in round
robins, tournaments, BBQs, socials, our
famous funfair and “free” spring training
clinics.

Lakeshore League - Monday

Competitive doubles league. Men’s, ladies, & mixed. Club fields 2 teams. Matches are played home and
away against other clubs. Club is responsible for new tennis balls.
Tryout date: Saturday April 25th 10:00-11:00am Ladies, 11:00am-12:00pm Men. Rain date Monday

This is a drop-in and play as you are available, Men’s, Ladies and Mixed Doubles Round Robin. Players
will be grouped by the organizer and rotations will take place every 30 minutes.

Fee: “Free” No Fee.

A structured co-ed singles league. Matches are 70 minutes. Been looking for a singles league? This is it!

Wednesday Nights! – Starting May 6th 6:50-8:00pm, 8:00-9:10pm, 9:10-10:20pm (Courts 1, 2, 3 only)
Fee: $40 (early bird $35 pay before April 26th). $5 (substitute player).
Doubles League - Thursday

A structured co-ed doubles league. Players will be rated and teams formed by level. A league package
will be provided with teams, schedule, and rules. Scores will be recorded and a winning team will prevail
at the end of the season!
Thursday Nights – Starting May 7th. Players will rotate between playing 7:00 to 8:30 pm and 8:30 to
10:00 pm. (Courts 1 – 4) Tennis Balls provided!

Meet the President
The STC is organized by a volunteer committee
spearheaded by the President Sharon Randall. Winner
of the “2004 Mississauga Outstanding Contribution to
Community Sport Award” Sharon has continued over the
years with her high energy and drive to improve
community access to the game of tennis. Most recently,
with her determination and hard work, was able to
obtain a trillium grant in order to help with the amazing
facility upgrades of brand new courts, lighting and
clubhouse renovations. If you are not already part of it,
come join Springfield and feel the energy!

exciting and high quality programs. Leaders and pioneers in Progressive Tennis!

Junior Academy – Play & Train!
Play - Junior League – Structured League Play for 6-15 year olds. Red Court (1/2 court) Orange Court (3/4
court) and Full Court Levels. All can play regardless of ability or level. Juniors will play round robin matches at
their appropriate level and court size. Juniors will be given pointers along the way to learn and improve play but
emphasis is on playing real tennis points and games and learning as you play!
• 5:00-6:00 pm – ages 6-15 Red Court and Orange Court Levels. Starts Friday May 8th
• 6:00-7:00 pm – ages 6-15 Orange Court and Full Court Levels. Starts Friday May 8th.
8 week league: 1 hour/wk for 8 weeks. Rain make-ups added on to end of the session.
Fee: $129 + HST = $145
Train – Junior Lesson – Semi-Private for 6-15 year olds. Maximum 4 students. The ‘Play & Train’ model
speeds up the progress of the junior player while also making it much more fun for them!
8 week session: 1 hour/wk for 8 weeks. Rain make-ups added on to end of session.
Starts Friday May 9th 7:00-8:00 pm.
Fee: $ 195 + HST = $ 220.35
