Switching to LED technology can be quick and simple
LED light sources open up new possibilities in lighting design. Not only are they highly durable, they are also extremely energy efficient. But switching to LED technology is
not just an option when planning a new lighting system as.
Tridonic offers two simple and cost-effective solutions for
upgrading existing luminaires. With the new accessory set
for tmodule LLE from Tridonic, existing linear luminaires, equipped with T5 or T8 fluorescent lamps, can be
quickly and easily upgraded to state-of-the-art LED technology – even using the same production equipment. The
new tready2apply products can be installed directly
in ceilings and are therefore are a convenient and professional solution.
Ready-to-install solutions – Uready2apply
The new tready2apply products are suitable for direct installation
in ceilings – simple and convenient
because the LED module, heat sink
and lens form a single unit. This means
it is possible to switch very quickly
and cost-effectively from conventional
halogen or compact fluorescent
lamps to a preconfigured professional
LED solution.
The tready2apply range features installation-ready spotlight and
downlight solutions to meet professional lighting requirements, for example in shops and hotels. Even the

for spotlights is offered in two versions: one for high-end dimming via a

Upgrading to LEDs
The professional way to
upgrade linear luminaires
to LED technology
Tridonic offers a complete set for
upgrading existing luminaires to LED
technology. In no time at all, T5 and
T8 light sources can be swapped out
for tmodule LLE 16 and 24.
Available accessories include covers
with different transmission grades,
end caps and fixing clips. The LED
light sources can be fixed in place
without the need for screws or tools.
The end caps offer complete protection against accidental contact with
the LLE module. Different covers provide high levels of translucence and
optimum distribution of light. The entire concept has been well thought out
and for the first time, linear luminaires
can be quickly and easily upgraded to
LED technology.
If we compare two 36 W T8 light sources with one tmodule LLE,
the initially higher procurement costs
will be offset in less than two years
thanks to the much lower operating
costs. This calculation is based on an
operating time of ten hours a day for
250 days a year. Whereas fluorescent
lamps have to be replaced on average
once every three years, LLE modules
will operate for 50,000 hours. There
are also total savings of around 65 kg
of CO2 per light source.

for use in downlights and spotlights –
and is even more efficient in its latest
generation. Together with fixed-output and dimmable LED Drivers from

EXCITE offers excellent colour rendering (CRI > 90) for perfect merchandise presentation at the point of sale.
The housing dimensions are identical
to those of the ADVANCED series.
By using the same popular narrow
housing it is possible for a luminaire
to have a higher colour rendering by
simply replacing the LED modules.

Dynamic Light – Tunable White
Tunable White gives you the option of dynamically setting
the colour temperature. This is essential for modern, biologically effective lighting solutions which aim to simulate
natural light indoors. The QLE PREMIUM Tunable White
System is available as a kit comprising four LED modules and a preconfigured LED Driver. This means that it is
possible for area lighting to simulate the changes in natural daylight throughout the day. The colour temperature
can be changed smoothly between 3,000 K and 6,000 K
to meet the specific needs of the relevant application. The
system can be dimmed between 100 and 10 % without
any shift in colour temperature.

Best performance at the best price
If a balance needs to be struck between low costs and maximum efficiency, the new tmodule LLE
ADVANCED-SE are the perfect answer. Modules with lengths of 280 mm
and 560 mm are available in light colours of 3,000 K, 4,000 K and 6,500 K.

In addition to straightforward assembly and wiring, the new
tmodule QLE ADVANCED-SE 380 × 380 mm boasts

to their optimum arrangement, the 121 light points produce
excellent homogeneous light, assisted by the slim luminaire
design and PMMA diffuser. Only one module is needed for
louvre luminaires up to 625 × 625 mm. Together with the

new QLE generation, an ideal portfolio for the cost-effective
