The Swan Chamber of Commerce will present the Swan Connect Economic Conference
on Friday, 22 May 2015 at the Mandoon Estate in Perth’s picturesque Swan Valley.
Swan Connect will partner people with possibility, when it brings together leaders
in business, industry and government to explore ways the Swan region can work
together towards tomorrow.
As the region embraces the emergence of diverse, new markets and expanded
industry drivers, our experts will consider the impact of economic evolution and its
promise of prosperity for future generations.
By 2036 Swan’s resident population is expected to swell by more than 65% to
213,201 people. So where will the locals live, work and play? How can business
capitalise on this climate of change?
Could Swan become home to Western Australia’s ﬁrst ed-med hub? Will construction
continue to generate record job numbers? Or will knowledge-based and creative
industries ﬁnd their footing in the state’s historic manufacturing stronghold?
Swan Connect will explore the enviable business and investment opportunities that
have the potential to propel the Swan region into its next phase of accelerated
economic growth and development.
The 2015 Swan Connect Economic Conference is expected to attract more than 200

The Swan Valley’s newest venue Mandoon Estate offers a fine dining restaurant,
microbrewery, cellar door with a private wine tasting cellar all in a spectacular
bush setting. At Mandoon Estate all tastes are catered for with Homestead Brewery
producing handcrafted beers and cider in addition to the estate’s award winning
