You can apply for a Tuition Fee Loan to help pay your fees, and loans and grants to help with your living costs. You don’t need a confirmed place at university or college to apply. Just use your preferred choice and if it changes you can update your application later. Applications are welcome from all students and in the event of over subscription priority will be given to students with no family experience of higher education. Summer School topics on offer are: History/Film and Theatre/French and German/Food and Nutrition/Maths The schools run on different dates depending on topic, but generally are about two or three days long and occur between late June and early July. HEI is for students currently in Year 12 and involves: • A four-day, three-night residential in University of Birmingham halls of residence. • An e-mentoring programme throughout Year 13. • Pairing up with a current undergraduate student studying in your area of interest. • Impartial advice about higher education and choosing the right course and university for you. • Support with UCAS applications and personal statement writing.
