Industries, Inc. on Sept. 1, 1961.
Background: Barnwell Industries, Inc., through its subsidiaries, acquires, explores for, develops, produces, and
sells oil and natural gas in Canada. It operates through four segments: Oil and Natural Gas, Land Investment,
Contract Drilling, and Residential Real Estate. The company invests in oil and natural gas properties located in
the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia in Canada. As of September 30, 2014, its principal
oil and natural gas property, the Dunvegan Unit, had 220 producing natural gas wells, proved natural gas
reserves of 5,848,000 net thousand cubic feet of natural gas, and proved oil and natural gas liquids reserves of
297,000 net Bbls. The company also invests in land interests in Hawaii. In addition, it owns and operates portable
rotary drilling rig and other ancillary drilling equipment; drills water and water monitoring wells of various depths;
