Welcome to 2015! On behalf of the DBCD Board, I would like to say Happy New Year and thank you for your continued support of Danish Business Council in 2015. We had a great year with many interesting events among others: the yearly Scandinavian Golf Tournament, Style Gallery, Monthly Nordic Sundowners, and a successful inaugural Nordic Christmas Event at Jebel Ali Hotel. For the spring of 2015, we are already planning to have our monthly Nordic Sundowners, with business themes, Wine Tasting, Cocktail Tasting, Business Breakfasts and the popular Danish Gala dinner. In the autumn we are planning Speed Networking, Back to Business, Scandinavian Golf Tournament, Rugby Sevens with DRU and the Nordic Family Christmas event in December. The fees for corporate membership in 2015 are maintained at 2000/- while we have introduced an Individual membership at Dhs.600/-. Your support, both in person and financially, is essential for us to create future events and maintain a network you can benefit from. Finally I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our Ambassador Poul Hoiness and our Consul General Morten S.Lynge for their steadfast support and the much appreciated us of the Consulate facilities for a number of our events.
