In order to receive a certificate of completion learners need to meet the following requirements: Contact teaching  Learners attend weekly contact teaching sessions.  Learners must attend a minimum of 80% of all contact teaching. Clinical work   80 hours of clinical work must be completed in approved sites. These hours will need to be completed and are additional to the contact teaching time. Workplace tasks  Learners are required to complete prescribed palliative nursing tasks within their own work environment. Communication assessment  A role play interview is used to assess communication skills and attitudes.
