Camp Bishop
Overnight Resident
Camp
Overnight Resident Camp is designed to allow each
camper a safe and fun experience in a beautiful natural
setting. Campers are grouped by age and gender in
comfortable cabins supervised by two counselors. All
cabins have electricity and community bath houses,
equipped with private showers.
Each day campers have opportunities for structured and
unstructured play, skill development, and social bonding
with peers. The traditional camp experience includes
activities such as campfires, archery, arts & crafts,
swimming, boating, climbing, soccer, basketball, drama,
low ropes initiatives, and much more. Each day, all of
camp comes together for games such as Capture the
Flag or other ACE’s (All Camp Events). Days end with
campfire and with cabin groups having a Values Session,
designed to encourage reflection and personal growth.

activities.
Specialties

in a focus area. Campers will be able to develop
additional skills in their specialty based on a

Teen Camp
Teen Camp is designed for teenagers who want to get
outdoors, make new friends and participate in activities that
challenge them in a variety of different ways. Teen Camp
intentionally puts a strong emphasis on self-discovery,
personal growth, teamwork, personal responsibility and
positive communication. At camp we recognize that
teenagers are discovering who they are and choosing who
they want to be. Counselors harness this energy and create
learning opportunities and discussions around these
important moments whether they happen on the challenge
course or in their cabins during nighttime debrief activities.
Teens stay in cabins where they are introduced to outdoor
living skills such as fire and shelter-building while practicing
Leave No Trace principles. Teen Camp allows participants
the opportunity to enjoy all the fun of camping while being
introduced to responsibility of role modeling within their
unit as well as all around camp. Teens are sure to build
strong friendships as they make their way through activities
planned by their Counselors throughout their two night
stay.
