NOTICE
INVITING
TENDER
1) The Burdwan Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. invites tenders for the Refurbishing, Electrical &
Air
conditioning work of Nadanghat Branch. The estimated cost of the project is approx.
`25.26 lakh
only. The work is to be completed within 8 (eight) weeks. From the date of issue of Work- Order.
2) Interested agencies having experience in work of similar nature & magnitude and fulfilling the
eligibility criteria given below may download detailed tender document from Bank’s website
www.burdwanccb.in.
3) Part “A” envelope (Technical Bid) shall contain : Earnest Money, the documents for satisfying
eligibility criteria & the technical & financial stipulation, if any, of the tenderer & part “B” shall contain
: financial bid along with a copy of the tender document, duly signed in all pages both
shall
be
separately sealed & submitted in another sealed envelope to the Chief Executive
Officer, The Burdwan
Central Co-operative Bank Ltd., 64, G.T. Road, P.O. & Dist. - Burdwan, PIN.- 713 101, West Bengal, latest by
1-00 p.m. on 27.04.2015. Earnest money amounting to `10,000/- by Bank Draft / Pay Order in favour
of The Burdwan Central Co- operative Bank Ltd., shall be submitted in part “A”.
4) Part “A” shall be opened at 2-00 p.m. on 27.04.2015.
5) Part “B” of the tenders will be opened for those only who fullfills the qualifying criteria given in the
tender document. The unopened part “B” along with Earnest Money deposit for those not fulfilling
qualifying criteria will be returned.
6) Clarifications, if any, required on drawings, schedules, specifications, etc. can be obtained from our

7) The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all application without saying any reason.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ( Shall be submitted with part “A” of the offer )
(a) The Tenderer should have completed in last three Financial years (i.e., current year & two
previous years) in Bank, Govt. or Govt. undertaking and financial institutions, Corporate sectors,
etc.

be submitted. The vendor who is being assigned the tender and not the sub contractor shall be liable for all the
defects in the work and he shall be the single point of contact.

The Tenderer should also submit the following document along with the tender: -

List of technical persons available on hand, years of their association with the firm &
proposed to be engaged for the subject work, if selected (marked annexure- IX).
b).
List of important plant & machinery available on hand (own & hired to be given
separately) for Civil Repairing Work (marked annexure- X).
c)
List of work completed in last three financial years under Bank / Govt., Semi-Govt.
Undertaking / Corporate sectors giving descriptions of work, organization for whom executed,
approximate value of the contract at the time of award and date of schedule completion of
work, date of actual completion and final value of contract should be given (marked
annexure- XI).
d)
List of works in hand indicating description of work, contract value, approximate value of
balance work to be done and date of award ( marked annexure-XII).
e)
Tenderer who will quote the rate must have a local office at Kolkata / Burdwan District.
This is absolutely essential for day to day supervision & coordination of the work at site.
All information is to be fully authenticated & documented failing which the Bank reserves the right to reject the
application without showing any reason.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1)
The Tenderers are to visit the site & acquaint themselves with the site conditions before quoting any
rate.
2)
Contractors will be required to arrange for their own storing. Dismantled materials are to be carted
away from the site at their own cost & disposed in conformity with municipal regulations.
3)
The quoted rates are to include cost of all labour, materials, and or any other material, all statutory
taxes, transport, handling delivery at site & installation, complete in all respect, as per drawing,
direction or instruction given by the Employer/Consultant.
4)
Prior approval of the Employer/Consultant shall be obtained for colour and thickness of laminates to be
used in the work.
5)
The arrangement of “wire management “ is to have prior approval of the client.
6)
The quoted rate shall remain firm during the entire currency of contract. No price variation for any
causes whatsoever, shall be entertained.
7)
The time of completion shall be 8 (eight) weeks from the date of placement of order.
8)
The offer shall remain valid for acceptance for a period of 20 days from the date of acceptance of our
sanction.
9)
Payments will be made once on completion by the employer within 30 days after certification of bill by
the consultant ( 10% of the total payable amount is to be retained as retention money and will become
due release after expiry of six months from the date of completion of the installation) & subject to
satisfactory maintenance of the executed work.
10)

Burdwan Central Co-operative Bank Ltd., 64, G.T. Road, P.O. & Dist.- Burdwan, PIN.- 713 101, West
