Easy Baked Ziti with
Italian Sausage
• 8 ounces dry ziti, cooked,
drained
• 2 teaspoons olive oil
• 12 ounces mild Italian sausage
links
• 6 ounces mushrooms, sliced
• 2 (15-ounce) marinara sauce
• 1½ cups (6 ounces) shredded
mozzarella
• 2 tablespoons shredded
parmesan
1. Preheat oven to 400°.
2. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
3. Heat olive oil in large
saucepan. Remove casings
from sausage. Add sausage;
stirring frequently, until
browned. Drain. Add
mushrooms; cook, stirring
frequently, until mushrooms
are tender. Add sauce; cook,
stirring occasionally, until
heated through. Remove from
heat.
4. Add pasta to sauce mixture;
toss well to coat. Spoon into
baking dish; sprinkle evenly
with both cheeses.
5. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or
until cheese is bubbly. Cool
slightly before serving.
