ARMS MASTER
USER MANUAL
The Arms Master module is used to create the master database for the armscode module.
Most of the entries like country, state, district, area validity, occupation, weapon type etc
can be made by the admin user, only police station entry permission has been given to the
state and district level admin users so that they can enter the police station information
related to their district, which can be used in armscode module.

1.Login
To login into the ArmsMaster module the user has to use the following url
http://10.24.245.133/ArmsMasters/
The login screen appears as follows.
The user can login using a valid user id / password. The user id and password thus entered is
checked and if valid, the next screen with the relevant functions allocated according to the
user role gets displayed.
Once the user logs in successfully the following screen is displayed and the user is provided
with all the relevant functions.

2.1 Add New Country
In order to add a new country to the data base user to click the add link of Bona fide
country.
The user has to enter a suitable country name and its corresponding alias name. On
submitting the form the data is saved.
2.2 Modify Country
The following screen appears when the user wishes to modify the name of an existing
country.
The user has to select the name of the country to be modified.

On selecting the name of the country the following screen appears.
The user can thus enter the modified name and its corresponding alias name. On submitting
the data is updated in the database.
2.3 Show Country List
The user can view the list of all countries and the following screen appears which contains
the corresponding list of all the countries and their codes.

3.1 Add New State
The following screen appears when the user wishes to add a new state to the data base.
The user has to enter a suitable state name and its corresponding alias name. On submitting
the form the data is saved.
3.2 Modify State
The following screen appears when the user wishes to modify the name of an existing state.
The user has to select the name of the state to be modified.

The user can thus enter the modified name and its corresponding alias name. On submitting
the data is updated in the database.
3.3 Show State List
The user can view the list of all states and the following screen appears which contains the
corresponding list of all the states and their codes.

4.1 Add New District
The following screen appears when the user wishes to add a new district to the data base.

The user has to select a state to which the district is to be added.
On submitting the following screen appears with the selected state name.

The user can view the list of all police stations and the following screen appears which
contains the corresponding list of all the police stations and their codes.

6.1 Add New Area Validity

8.2 Modify Weapon Type
The following screen appears when the user wishes to modify the name of an existing
weapon.
The user has to select the name of the bore name to be modified.

9.1 Add New Category of Sports Person
The following screen appears when the user wishes to add a new category of sports person
to the data base.

11. Log Out
The following screen appears when the user logs out. The user can thus click on the link
provided in order to log in again.
