Important Information and Terms & Conditions:
1. The last date to Deposit Application/Processing Fees is 23rd
April’2015, and the last date for submission of online Application
Form is 25thApril’2015.
2. The Candidates must have an E-mail ID and Mobile Number, and
which should be valid/alive/active in use at least for 12 months or
till the declaration of final results, and it is mandatory for the
submission of online Application Form.
3. Application will be accepted through online mode only. No manual
/ physical / offline applications will be accepted/ entertained.
4. Candidates will be allowed to appear for the written test only with
the valid Admit Card and not with the Registration Slip/Printout
of Application Form. Candidate should carry with him any valid
photo identity during the exam/interview(Voter ID/aadhar
card/driving license with photo/Passport/Pan card /Bank
Passbook with photo)
5. Candidates are required to read the detailed “Advertisement”,
“Important Information, Terms and Conditions” and “How to
Apply” pages carefully. Before applying for the Advertised posts,
candidates should ensure, that, they fulfill the requisite eligible
Educational Qualifications and Other Conditions as specified in the
Advertisement.
6. Age Relaxation:
A) For SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy layer): 5 Years age relaxation for
the candidate who is SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer) of Uttar
Pradesh (UP) domicile only.
B) Ex-Serviceman: Length of Service plus 3 years for
Ex-serviceman who had served minimum 5 years of service in
Army/Defence/Navy as Defined under Uttar Pradesh Regulation.
C) For Physically Handicapped: 15 years age relaxation for the
candidate who is physically handicapped (PH) and domicile of
Uttar Pradesh. Application Fees for Handicapped Candidate ( with
disability 40% or more) is not applicable, but processing charge
of Rs. 10/- is payable.

8. Maximum age limit, including relaxation shall not exceed 55 years.
9. Electricity Service Commission (UPPCL) has the right to change or
add Examination centre/city depending upon the response,
administrative conditions/feasibility or any other force majeure
conditions. Request for change of examination centre will not be
considered/ entertained.
10. Data/Information provided in the Application Form by the
candidates will not be allowed to be changed at any stage. Hence,
it is advisable to recheck the information/data provided in the
Application Form through Preview Tab, before final submission .
11. All correspondence regarding date of Written Test, Admit Card,
Skill Test, Interview, etc., will be sent/informed to the candidate
through registered E-mail ID and Mobile number, which is
provided at the time of submission of online Application Form.
Electricity Service Commission/UPPCL will not be responsible for
loss of E-mail/SMS due to wrong email ID,Mobile number, etc., or
due to any other reasons.
12. Electricity Service Commission (UPPCL) will not be responsible for
failure in submission of Application Form, submission of Incomplete
Application Form or failure in downloading of Admit Card / Interview
Call Letter etc. for any reasons not attributed to software .
13. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PH/ExServiceman(as defined in the relevant regulation of Uttar Pradesh)
candidates will be allowed only if the candidate is domicile of Uttar
Pradesh
State.
The
SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Serviceman/PH(Physically
Handicapped) candidates of States other than Uttar Pradesh are
required to apply only under GEN (GENERAL) category only.
14. Fee relaxation for SC/ST/PH(Physically Handicapped with disability
40% or more) will be allowed only to the candidate of Domicile of Uttar
Pradesh State .Candidates belonging to States other than Uttar Pradesh
are required to apply under GEN (GENERAL) category ONLY.
15. Candidates should retain a copy of the Application Form / Bank
challan / SBI DU reference number, etc., for their future reference.
16. No Candidate will be allowed to appear for the Written Test / Skill
Test /Interview without Admit Card / Interview Call Letter. The Admit
Card / Interview Call Letter must be having candidates scanned
Photograph and one pasted Photograph on the Admit Card / Call Letter.
Candidates carrying only a copy of the Application Form will not be
allowed/entitled to appear in the Written Test / Skill Test / Interview.
17. During any stage of selection process or after the selection
/appointment, If any information furnished by the candidate is found
incorrect or false or wrong, then their candidature will be immediately
treated as cancelled without any prior notice. Electricity Service
Commission/UPPCL reserves the right to cancel the candidature of such
candidates without any notice or reasons.
18. No Objection Certificate: Candidate working in any Government
Organization (Central / State / Public Sector Units or Any other
Autonomous body) has to produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the
time of appointment from their Present Working Employer.
19. Character Certificate: Candidate has to produce Character
Certificate at the time of joining from his / her College Principal or from
a reputed Person/Personality which should not be the relative of the
candidate.
20. Marital Status: Such candidates who have more than one living
spouse OR any female candidate who is married to a person who is
having one or more living wife, will not be selected for the Advertised
Posts.
21. Qualification: Any candidate who does not meet the Academic
Qualification, Professional Qualification and other additional & essential
Computer Course Certificate / Diploma etc. as per the Advertisement
criteria, will not be considered eligible for the Advertised Posts. His/ Her
Candidature will be cancelled during any stage of selection process.
22. Reservation process for selection of candidates is as per the
Advertisement.
23. Candidates are advised to visit www.uppcl.org regularly for further
Information/Update in respect of Written Test/Admit Card /Skill Test/
Interview/Interview Call Letter, etc., However, E-mail/ SMS alerts will
be sent to the Candidates through their registered E-mail ID/Mobile
number in due course. But, ESC will not take any responsibility for loss
of E-mails/SMS in transit due to any technical /other reasons.
24. In case of dispute, the Court of Jurisdiction will be Lucknow only.
