Sonoma Mountain Village Will Host the Girls on the Run
Sonoma County Community 5K Run/Walk
SANTA ROSA, Calif., Mar 17, 2015 – Nearly 2,500 athletes, volunteers and spectators will attend in the
Girls on the Run Sonoma County 5K Presented by Hansel Subaru on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Sonoma
Mountain Village in Rohnert Park, California.
This family-friendly event is open to the community, which means men, women, boys and girls are welcome.
The 5K (3.1-mile) course follows a flat tree-lined route that loops around the Sonoma Mountain Village
property. With stunning views of the surrounding farmland and Sonoma Mountains, the course is completely
paved. Anyone from the most competitive runner to the recreational walker is invited to participate.
“Sonoma Mountain Village is a perfect location for our 5K event,” said Girls on the Run race director Kristine
Nolan. “Through our partnership with Sonoma Mountain Village, we are able to provide a safe, inclusive and
