Before using your Cake Pop
Before using your Cake Pop Maker for the first time make sure that you:
• Remove the Cake Pop Maker from its packaging.
• Clean the non-stick baking plates with a soft damp cloth and then
thoroughly dry them.
• Completely unwind the mains cable.
• Place the Cake Pop Maker on a dry, level heat-resistant surface
away from any other appliances or objects.
Your Cake Pop Maker is now ready to use.

Operating your Cake Pop Maker
1. Make sure that your Cake Pop Maker is clean and dry.
2. Position your Cake Pop Maker on a flat table or surface close to a
plug socket.
3. Plug the power lead into a suitable plug socket.
4. Close your Cake Pop Maker and pre-heat it for a few minutes. The
green indicator light will be illuminated when it is ready.
5. Once ready to use make sure that each cavity of your Cake Pop
Make has been coated with an oil spray.
6. REMEMBER that the baking plates are very hot; do not touch these
with your hands.
7. Add a dessert spoon sized amount of Cake Pop batter to each cake
pop cavity on the bottom baking plate. Do not overfill each cavity;
remember that your mixture will expand with cooking.
8. Carefully close the lid, clip shut the lid latch and allow the cake pops
to bake for 4-5 minutes.
9. During cooking, the temperature regulating thermostat maintains an
even temperature. You may therefore notice the indicator flickering.
10. After 4-5 minutes you can test that the cake pops are ready by
inserting a toothpick into the middle of one; if it comes out clean
they are ready.
11. Switch off the machine and leave to cool for a few minutes before
removing with a wooden or plastic utensil.
12. Decorate your cake pops as desired.

Cleaning your Cake Pop Maker
Follow these simple steps to clean and maintain your Cake Pop Maker
after every use:
1. Turn your Cake Pop Maker OFF by un-plugging it from the mains.
2. Allow the machine to completely cool down.
3. Clean the top and bottom casing with a soft damp cloth and then
dry with a kitchen/paper towel.
4. Open the Cake Pop Maker and wipe away any excess mixture with
a soft damp cloth and then dry with a kitchen/paper towel. Make
sure that each cavity on the top and bottom baking plates are
thoroughly cleaned and dried.
5. Once your Cake Pop Maker is clean and dry it is ready to be packed
back in its box ready for the next use.
NEVER immerse the Cake Pop Maker in water, other liquids, or use in a
dishwasher. There is danger to life due to a risk of electric shock.
NEVER use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing
brush or a knife) for cleaning.

Important Safety Instructions
When using your Cake Pop Maker, standard safety precautions should
be followed, including the following:
1. Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance and
retain this user guide for future reference.
2. This Cake Pop Maker is for household use only.
3. Do not operate this appliance if the machine, cable or mains
adaptor are showing any sign of damage.
4. This appliance should not be assembled or operated by children.
5. Do not touch the baking plates with your fingers during or after use as
they become very hot.
6. If any cake mix spills out of the Cake Pop Cavities or down the sides
of the baking plates always switch off the machine and let it cool

8. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table, or come into
contact with a hot surface.
9. Do not immerse the Cake Pop Maker in water or other liquid, doing
so may cause injury due to electric shock, and will also damage the
machine.
10. Before cleaning always turn off the power, and then disconnect the
mains adaptor from the plug socket and appliance.
11. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning fluids on this appliance, please
follow the cleaning instructions on page 5.

RECIPE IDEAS
Vanilla Cake Pops
Ingredients:

170g of plain flour
½ a teaspoon of baking powder
A pinch of salt
60g of softened butter
110g of caster sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
60ml of milk
This recipe will make 24 cake pops
Instructions
1. Add the softened butter and sugar to a large mixing bowl and beat
until light and fluffy.
2. Next beat in the egg and vanilla essence to the mixing bowl.
3. Add the salt and baking powder to the bowl and mix in.
4. Gradually sift and mix in the flour.
5. Add the milk and mix all of the ingredients until they come together
to form a smooth batter.
6. Make sure that your Cake Pop Maker is pre-heated and that each
cavity has been coated with an oil spray.
7. Add a dessert spoon sized amount to each cake pop cavity on the
bottom baking plate.
8. Carefully close the lid and allow the cake pops to bake for 4-5
minutes.

1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
A pinch of salt
60g of softened butter
110g of caster sugar
1 egg
60ml of milk
