2nd ANNUAL Tussle on the Turf- Duals
When: Saturday July 11, 2015 – Dual Team tournament
Start time: 4pm – till done
Where: Lower Dauphin Middle School Turf Field- 251 Quarry Rd Hummelstown Pa 17036
Costs: Dual Team Tournament -Team duals- $500 per team
Who: Elementary teams and 6th-12th grade teams – 2014-2015 school year
The dual team tournament is unique in that will be held outside under the lights of our Turf Field at night. We are looking
for a minimum of 10 teams and 2 divisions to ultimately crown a champion.
If inclement weather doesn't permit us to be under the lights we will use an alternate facility.
Please feel welcome to tailgate at our facility before, during, and after wrestling obviously with no alcoholic beverages
permitted on school property. A great way to socialize with your team families.
We also have a camping facility 2 miles away, Hershey Highmeadows Campground, which we can also provide a shuttle
service to and from our wrestling facility if needed. There are also 4 Hotels with in 1 mile of the Middle School. Holiday
Inn Express, Hilton Garden Inn, Best Western and Comfort Inn at the Park.

Hershey Story Museum – 3 Miles away
Tanger Outlet Mall – 4 Miles away
Indian Echo Caverns – 1 Miles away

Entry Fees: $500.00 per team
Mailed in Registration due July 1, 2015
Payments: Make checks payable to “Lower Dauphin Wrestling Boosters”
Weigh-ins: Satellite weigh-ins by school or club coach
Eligibility: Peregrine Falcon Division-7-12 grade (2014-2015 school year)*6th graders at Coach’s discretion
Duals team weights: 90, 95,100,106,114,122,130,138,145,154,164,175,190,215,HWT
Merlin Falcon division- 2nd-6th grade elementary division
Dual team weights: 50,55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,100,110,120,160
Equipment: Headgear will be optional and singlets mandatory (one or two piece)
Rules: Modified National High School Rules. Officials shall enforce the rules.
Misconduct: Tobacco, drug, or alcohol use, child abuse, misconduct towards staff/officials shall be grounds for
ejection from tournament and premises.
Format: 2 divisions of 5 teams– with crossover 1-1,2-2,3-3,4-4,5-5 for placement
Awards: 1st thru 2nd place teams
Admission: Adults $5.00, Children under 12 free
Periods – MS/HS-1.5,1.5,1.5, plus OT – college out of bounds/ Elementary-1,1,1
