Math 126 Homework
Homework will not be collected. Each section in the text includes some Preliminary Questions
before the rest of the Exercises. You should do all of these Preliminary Questions unless
otherwise indicated (answers to all Preliminary Questions are in back of text). Only do odd
numbered Exercises, unless otherwise noted. For example, if I assign #1-7, do Exercises 1, 3, 5
and 7. The answers to odd numbered Exercises are at the back of the text. Note that the text
contains review exercises for each chapter. The relevant ones are listed at the end of this
document. There is a list of known errors in the text posted on my website.
You are also expected to do the Practice exercises in the notes and check the solutions on my
website: http://66.51.172.120/maanders/126.htm Tutorial worksheets posted on the website
contain more exercises. Be sure to do any problems in the Tutorials that are significantly
different from those in the text or notes.
