2015 Call For Nominations
The American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) Advertising Hall of
Achievement is the industry’s premier award for outstanding advertising
®
professionals age 40 and under. AAF established this program in 1993
as a way to recognize young advertising professionals who are making
a significant impact on the industry through their leadership, career
achievements and personal qualities, which also inspire others to excel.

2015 Nomination criteria
criteria for election
• Age 40 or younger at the time of nomination and
employed in the American advertising industry—
advertiser, agency or media
• Outstanding career achievements, with measurable results in
the field of advertising including, but not limited to, marketing,
sales, media or tech
• Qualities and achievements that motivate others to excel by
mentoring, inspiring, training or volunteering
• Must be present at the awards ceremony
nominations
Nominations are accepted on an annual basis. Candidates not
elected the previous year may be nominated again.
The Council of Judges will consider only candidates who have been
formally nominated in accordance with the following guidelines:
• Inclusion of the official nomination form
• A description of the candidate’s career, highlighting his/her
major achievements
• A description of the candidate’s volunteer activities and
community responsibilities, both within and outside of the
advertising industry
• Description of qualities possessed by the candidate that
make him/her worthy of election to the Advertising Hall
of Achievement
• Recommendation letters
It is encouraged to view past nomination submissions to help
guide you through the process. Samples submissions are available

council of judges
The Council of Judges is chosen annually by the president of the
American Advertising Federation and the chairperson of the
Advertising Hall of Achievement. The nominations are submitted
to the Council of Judges, a distinguished panel representing all
disciplines of the advertising industry, evaluates and elects those
individuals most deserving of induction.
In addition, the Jack Avrett Volunteer Spirit Award is given to a
young industry executive who demonstrates the principles of
the Advertising Hall of Achievement and is committed to
exceptional public service that extends beyond that of his/her
accomplished peers.
Candidates for the Jack Avrett Volunteer Spirit Award are
selected from the Advertising Hall of Achievement nominations
at the discretion of the Council of Judges, who may choose not
to select someone in any given year.

The induction ceremony and luncheon honoring the newly elected
candidates will be held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on
November 3, 2015.
