2015 HAWKEYE
DAY of CARING
Hawkeye Day of Caring is a program facilitated by the Iowa Student Athlete
Advisory Committee (ISAAC), whose goal is to encourage community
service among Hawkeye teams and individuals. The group has successfully
undertaken Day of Caring the last fifteen years. Student athletes are partnering with the United Way of Johnson County to arrange various clean-up and
spring-time activities in the Iowa City and Coralville area.
For more information or to volunteer, contact Grace Haerr at
[email protected] or Andy Winkelmann at [email protected].
"Day of Caring is a great way for student athletes to give back to the
community that always provides us with so much support. It's a fun
and enjoyable way for us to show our appreciation and try and make
our community a better place." -Nicole Rae

“Day of Caring is a tradition that I am proud
to be apart of. It allows us to thank all our
supporters from the Iowa City
community. Hawks help Hawks! “
-Grace Haerr
“Day of caring is an opportunity to participate in a community
of giving. It's nice to take a day to whole-heartedly give back as
representatives of one of the most amazing institutions across
the nation.” -Emma Willis
