The entry price is 5 euro.
Each visitor, whether paying the entry price or invited by an
exhibitor, will receive a brochure for the salon containing a
floor plan and a list of exhibitors classed by appellation, as
well as an elegant INAO wine tasting glass decorated with
the salon logo.
The reception stand is run by les Chevaliers with the assistance of the students of the G DEBEYRE college.
Entry is free to accompanied children under 12 years old.
Visitors may enter free with a completed invitation from one
of our exhibitors. These invitations will be returned to the
exhibitors so that they can update their client lists for the
next salons.
Situation

This edition will take place over three days
in the hall of the Palais des Congrès de
Dunkerque – LE KURSAAL.
The Kursaal is situated on the beach, near
to the Casino, the ice rink and the indoor
swimming pool and a short distance from
the Ferry Terminal and Railway station of
Dunkerque.

Saturday 11th April 2015 - 10:00 to 20:00
Sunday 12th April 2015 - 10:00 to 18:00
Doors are closed to visitors half an hour
before the end of the salon.
Cloakroom
e
A cloakroom is run by one of the associations of Dunkerque. We ask a small fee of 1
euro for each item of clothing deposited
during the salon.
Exhibitors
e
More than 100 exhibitors are coming from all over
France and will happily talk to visitors about their
region, their property and their production methods.
They can give advice about how to use and conserve
their produce and wines.
Virtually all the wine growers are referenced by the
professional wine guides.
All tastings are free, subject to legal age restrictions
for alcohol products.
Visitors can buy products at the salon or order for
delivery.

than 3 minutes walking time from the Kursaal.
You will find them at Place Paul Asseman, Rue du
Kursaal, Rue Marcel Sailly.
There are an additional 300 places along the
Canal Exutoire, a little more than 8 minutes walk
from the Kursaal.

Secure underground parking with 253
places, 6 reserved for “reduced mobility” badged vehicles, is available at
the Kursaal. Parking is on one floor. A
lift is available and permanent video
surveillance and personnel are on site.
Customers can recover their vehicle any time, 24
hours a day with their paid parking ticket. The
two payment machines are situated on the square
between the Kursaal and the Casino. Payment
can be made in cash, by card or by euro cheque
at the Kursaal reception. Please note that vehicle
height is limited to 1.90 metres.

At the entrance to the salon “TAXI PORTERS”
are at your service to collect your purchases
from the different stands and deliver them together to the edge of the Kursaal parking area.
In order to make life easier, a service of rapid
access will be in place in the Kursaal parking.
A free pass (LAISSEZ PASSER) will be given to
you by the porters.
When you leave the Kursaal, Free Minibus will
take you back to your vehicle free of charge.
The porter is waiting for help you in front of the
Kursaal.

the nearby car parks.

Cheese is like wine, olive oil, vegetables or fruits...
It consists of specific characteristics that reveal its origin. Each type of cheese has a strong
identity that makes it easily recognizable.
In addition to providing gastronomical pleasure and conviviality, cheese can be a real lesson
of history and geography.
A link between the know-how of men and women of yesterday and the talent of those of
today.
Like wine, the label of origin guarantees the origin and the particular uniqueness of the
cheese; it also gives the assurance that the cheese was made according to standard practices and with valuable know-how. As it is handed down from generation to generation,
the process of cheese making is carried out according to precise specifications. There is
also the certainty that the cheese, that is on our plate or slice of bread, is quality cheese
made from milk that comes from cows pastured in the same geographical perimeter.

sheet (bulletin concours) at the entry to the salon ; complete your name, address and portable telephone details;
place the completed form in the urn (JEU CONCOURS).
Every 15 minutes bulletins will be drawn from the urn to
see who has won a prize.
Winners are informed by SMS and the animator will immediately give them a card which will allow them to receive a
prize from one of our exhibitors.

Organic wines
e
This year puts the light on wines created from certified organic
production. That is to say that no synthesised products are
used in the culture of the grapes used.
In order to gain the label "AB", the domaine must pass a conversion period of three years, during which time the constraints of organic agriculture must be respected. The producer must declare his production each year with the public services and engage in a contract with one of the organic certification organisations accredited by the government. These organisations are required to carry out regular controls on the
exploitations.
Since 2012, European rules require that production can only
be considered as organic if it respects established specifications relating to the types of chemical products authorised in
vine culture and wine making, prohibiting certain practices
such as heat treatment in excess of 70% or the use of certain
products such as ascorbic acid. The inputs must be organic,
the use of sulfites must be reduced...

The activities of the
Association

“LES CHEVALIERS DU XX SIECLE” redistribute
the profits of the salon each year in the
form of donations, purchase of materials or
presents to handicapped children and
adults. This year the aim is to donate
120,000 euro.
