Project Description:
Youth Exchange, Career Magazine will give participants opportunity to have an applied training about
planning their careers and being employed in the job they are looking for. There will be 6 participants
including the group leaders from Spain, Greece, Lithuania, Azerbaijan and 10 participants including the
group leaders from Turkey, totally 34 participants. The project will be in Ordu between the dates 15-29
June 2015. During these days all the participants will learn and apply variety of career planning
techniques including perfect CV preparation, finding the most wanted job, applying for it, the best job
interview, the business life, improving entrepreneurship skills and so on. In addition to that, each
participant will have an opportunity to spend their two whole days in a public body or private company as
an internship after all the real selection process that these companies use to select their employers. All
the young participants will take part in all activities. Furthermore, there will be some social activities such
as cultural nights, visiting natural and historical places, promoting Erasmus+ programs. Another aim of
the project is to point out socialization and open-mindedness of the youngsters by giving each group a
chance to introduce their culture to others. They will also learn to care the other participants' ideas and
get a new viewpoint about other countries. As a result, all the participants will learn the various career
building techniques that will help them to find the best job to their characteristics and abilities, will have
some information about different cultures, will break the stereotypes about Turkey, will have some Turkish
friends from local people, and will communicate some local Turkish shopkeepers and workers.
Participating Countries:
There are 5 participating countries from:
Spain, Greece, Lithuania, Azerbaijan and Turkey
The Group size: 6 participants (ages between 18 and 25)
Financial Conditions:
The Youth Exchange is scheduled for 15-29 June 2015 and will be hosted in Turkey, Ordu.
Financial support is from the Turkish National Agency, under the European Commission’s “Erasmus+”programme granting scheme. All costs will be covered, except for excessive budget of the
international travel. The Youth Exchange will be held in English.
There will be a 20 Euro participation fee and will be deducted from travel budget of each participants.

Travel Timing:
Arrival Time: until dinner 15th June, 2015 (Monday)
Departure Time: Before 12:00 am 29th June, 2015 (Monday)
Visa:
No Visa is required for EU citizens and Azerbaijan, participants will need to have only valid ID card or
international passport.
! Please, check the VALIDITY of the passports before the departure – Passport must
be valid at least for 6 (six) months.
Local Transportation and Transportation:
Firstly, you should buy your tickets from your country to Samsun airport. In Samsun, you will
see a bus, naming HAVAŞ. It costs 20 TL , Euro is NOT valid. The bus collects you from the airport and
takes you to Ordu. Then, We will collect you when you arrive in Ordu.
Venue:
Hotel DSI Sosyal Tesisleri. It will be near the city center. It is the best place for a Youth Exchange.
You can reach city center by using public transportation.
Weather:
We recommend you to bring with you, cloths which you consider as the most comfortable for you, for the
temperature from (200 to +250). Take also Sport Shoes and Sportswear that can be used for (dance,
theatre and outdoor activities). Also, don’t forget PARTY Nights, swimming days.
Accommodation and Food:
Rooms with 2, 3, 4 beds
In principle 2, 3, 4 participants of the same sex and different nationalities will share one room.
Hotel will provide us with towels and bed linen.
The Seminar room and Dining room are located at the same building. Organizers will provide
participants with three meals per day.
We strongly recommend each participant to inform the ORGANIZERS about any special
needs such are dietary, vegetarian or any other kind of special need!!!

Security Advice:
! The organizers will not provide you with Insurance!
It is obligatory for each participant to obtain travel insurance – at own expense - for whole
duration of Youth Exchange 15-29 June, 2015.
Money:
The Currency in Turkey is Turkish Lira. 1 Euro = 2.90 TL
1 Beer = 1,5 Euro (In Market) , 3-4 Euro (In Pubs)
1 Coca Cola = 0.6 Euro
50 ml Water = 0.2 Euro
Public Transportation= 1 Euro (1 Way)
Internet Access:
There will be a Wi-Fi Internet available in the Venue.
Preparation:



Each Group is asked to prepare a short oral and visual presentation of their organization
Each Group is asked to prepare cultural presentations (any kind of activity will be welcomed)
Each Group is welcome to bring national drinks and snacks for the intercultural evening.
Rules:
You are expected to participate fully in all activities, unless you are ill. Unauthorized absence from
activities and workshops won’t be permitted. We would really appreciate energetic and active
participation.
Smoking is prohibited inside of the buildings, so all smokers will have to leave the building in case you
want to smoke a cigarette.
