AdvaMed 2015
Formerly known as Company Presentations and building on the successful track record of this program, AdvaMed
2015 presents Innovation Showcase, a new and unique program featuring the most promising, innovative
emerging-growth MedTech companies from across the country and around the world.
Innovation Showcase will feature 48 medical technology companies selected through two channels:
• The 20 semi-finalists of MedTech Innovator 2015 will automatically qualify for a complimentary place in the
Innovation Showcase.
• The AdvaMed 2015 Business Development Committee will select 28 companies to receive full scholarships to
the Innovation Showcase.
Scholarships for Innovation Showcase are offered to MedTech companies who participate in the National
Institutes of Health Technical Assistance Programs (SBIR/STTR), are members of the AdvaMed State Medical
Technology Alliance or participate in an International Delegation to AdvaMed 2015.
Innovation Showcase companies will receive an exclusive package of benefits, including complimentary
conference registration, access to the Strategic Investor Speed Dating event, a dedicated table for 1-1 meetings
and invitations to special receptions at AdvaMed 2015.
What is Innovation Showcase?
• A series of company presentations and moderated discussions on a special stage in the AdvaMed 2015
Exhibit Hall on Tuesday, October 6 and Wednesday, October 7.
• Each showcase will feature four company executives presenting their medical technologies to an audience
of senior industry executives and active health care investors.
Who is eligible to participate?
• Any early-stage and emerging growth medical device or diagnostic manufacturer that is seeking investment
and/or strategic partnerships.
How can my company apply?
• Apply to the MedTech Innovator 2015 venture competition and virtual accelerator – 20 Semi-Finalists will automatically
qualify for a complimentary place in the Innovation Showcase. Any applicant to MedTech Innovator not selected as a
Semi-Finalist will automatically have their application considered for Innovation Showcase scholarships..
• Apply to AdvaMed 2015 to compete for 28 scholarships offered in partnership with the National Institutes
of Health (NIH), the AdvaMed State Medical Technology Alliance (SMTA) and AdvaMed 2015 International
Delegation Partners. The application window will open in mid-April and close July 31. Further information

Innovation Showcase Scholarships - $2,500
AdvaMed 2015 will award 28 scholarships in partnership with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the AdvaMed
State Medical Technology Alliance (SMTA) and AdvaMed 2015 International Delegation Partners, who have
purchased scholarships in support of emerging MedTech companies in their memberships and programs. E
ach
scholarship costs $2,500 and includes the following:
• Showcase Presentation – One (1) speaking slot on a 35-minute, moderated panel session. Four (4)
companies total per showcase, each with 1-minute video introductions.
• Two (2) full-access registrations to AdvaMed 2015 – Additional representatives of Innovation Showcase
companies can register at the AdvaMed member rate for small companies ($995 for full-access).
• Strategic Investor Speed Dating – Invitation (1 per company) to this exclusive, targeted networking
and fundraising opportunity on Monday, October 5 with leading corporate business development offices,
corporate venture, VCs and angels.
• CEO Networking Dinner – Invitation for attending CEOs of Showcase companies to an exclusive gathering
of AdvaMed and AdvaMedDx Board of Directors and other MedTech CEO’s from both the leading global
strategics and innovative small start-ups.
• Investor-Business Development Reception – Invitations for all Innovation Showcase company
representatives to a special networking reception on Monday, October 5 with active health care investors
(angels, VCs, Private Equity) and corporate business development.
• Branded Partnering Table – Dedicated table in the Partnering Zone for each Innovation Showcase
company to display marketing materials and host 1-1 partnering meetings.
• Innovation Showcase Company Profiles – Publication with detailed descriptions of the Innovation
Showcase companies, which is distributed on-site at AdvaMed 2015 and available online.
