It’s as simple as that.
Although we have grown in terms of customers, very little has
changed in the way we process our gourmet peanuts. We still
roast by hand in small batches, using our time honored, original
Wakefield recipe that has been handed down for three generations.
This simple process insures the quality and consistency we are
known for today.
Our peanuts make terrific gifts for family, friends, customers and associates. Many
schools, teams and civic organizations find success using our products to reach their

We invite you to visit our retail store in Wakefield, Virginia located a few miles from
where America’s first commercial peanut crop was grown in 1845. See one of the first
mechanical peanut diggers designed and patented by my grandfather Gurney Goodrich,
