Dr. Abraham VEMA
Dear Friends of Abraham International:
Blessed Easter 2015 season greetings. Thank you for your support of Abraham
International.
As you may know, IMEC (International Medical Equipment
Collaborative) has been honored to call Dr. Abraham VEMA a friend and Global
Advisor for almost 18 years. His participation in our work is vital to our success as a
nonprofit organization serving the poor in 90 countries.
Over the past 20 years, we have helped transform over 900 impoverished communities
by providing tools for hospitals, clinics, schools, and family farms. Dr. VEMA’s
expertise and guidance is so important to our work. His introductions to world leaders,
community leaders, and other exceptional people have led us to opportunities to serve
the poor in many countries, from the Caribbean to the South Pacific. Through this work,
his ministry transforms impoverished communities: bringing both the tools for
sustainable progress, as well as joy and hope to so many people.
Our Mission
IMEC’s mission is to

equipment solutions for
health care, agriculture and
education projects in
developing countries. We
work in collaboration with
other humanitarian
organizations,
governments, faith-based
groups and individuals.
Together, we have
transformed communities
in over 90 developing
countries since 1995.
In 2015, our work is more important than ever. Our Transforming Communities
Initiative (TCI), which will transform 1,000 communities in the next 10 years, is
actively underway.
Dr. VEMA has been a key person in the success of the initiative thus far, and our
continued progress depends on his ministry. From generating interest and support from
a vast network of people, to guiding us through the intricacies of working with high
level officials, we are blessed by Dr. VEMA’s friendship, prayer and guidance as we
continue our work.
Whether through prayer, friendship, donation of time or financial resources, your
support not only enables Dr. Abraham VEMA to continue his important work, but it
also helps the Transforming Communities Initiative move forward, which results in us
serving millions of people around the world.
I personally have the privilege of spending time with Dr. VEMA and his dedicated
Board of Directors. I am continually impressed by their mission and commitment, and
am proud to be a supporter of his work myself.
