We are very excited to continue to offer a great variety
of add-on experiences at Camps Airy & Louise.
Four different types of White Water Adventures are
available to campers entering Grade 6 or higher.
Campers will strap on a life jacket and navigate
meandering waterways on a raft, tube, canoe, or
kayak. Excitement awaits as they soak up all the
sights, sounds, and adventure nature has to offer!
Campers who participate in white water rafting, tubing,
canoeing and/or kayaking will be part of a large group
and attend with others in their age group that have
elected to participate. They will be joined by the
Outdoor Adventure Staff, and guided by River and Trail
Outfitters of Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia.

Tubing
This tubing tour simply has it all! Putting in a quarter mile
below the well-photographed Burnside Bridge, you will
begin the tour floating through sections of Antietam
National Battlefield – a cornerstone of our nation’s history.
As you float on the ripples and ledges of this scenic
beginner whitewater stream, your cares will melt away.

Join us on the final stretches of the Shenandoah River as
it tumbles into the Potomac, carving a spectacular 6.5
mile watercourse through the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Travel on these two rivers through three states
(Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia) on this unforgettable guided whitewater rafting trip.

Water Adventure trips are full-day and include
