Upon payment you will be given a boat number and a ribbon
will be tied to your boat before blast-off.
Bass Tournament Rules
Participants and Registration.
This tournament is open to all who have properly
completed and signed their registration form and paid their
entry fee. If you have failed a polygraph test associated
with any fishing tournament or have been barred from
any fishing tournament trail you are ineligible to fish
this tournament trail. Anglers may fish alone, $100 per
boat still applies. If you are 16 years and younger you
must have a Parent or Guardian in the boat with you. A
properly completed and signed entry form along with
entry fee, check or cash, must be received no later than
the registration deadline. Entry Fees are not refundable.
Registration deadline is 30 minutes prior to safe daylight
on tournament day. Please do not send cash thru the mail.
Permitted Fishing Location.
All legal fishing waters accessible by boat from tournament
site may be fished. No fishing allowed in any off limits
areas which included; Green Lake, Flag Lake, Bear Lake,
Johnson/Boykin Lake, Fishing Lake, Doctors Lake, Hellcat
Lake, Olin Basin, Chippewa Lakes 1 & 2. No fishing within
marked areas of a dam, or within fifty yards of an anchored
boat in the tournament. All fishing must be done from boat.
Substitution
Substitution of partner is allowed only once during trail
(Trail includes all seven tournaments).
Late Penalty.
Competitors who are not at the official checkpoint at the
designated time are disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Pre-Tournament.
Meeting at 5:00 am on the same day as the tournament at
weigh-in stage.
Mandatory On Site Polygraph Test.
I agree that if I place first, second or am randomly selected
from other winning places I will voluntarily take a polygraph
examination (lie detector test) upon the request of
tournament officials.
Safety.
Safe Boating conduct must be observed at all times by
anglers. A US Coast Guard approved life preserver must
be worn anytime the combustion engine is in operation.
No alcoholic beverages will be allowed during tournament
hours including weight-in. Intoxication will result in
immediate disqualification. A boat inspection will be made
prior to launch by tournament director or his designee.
Sportsmanship.
Competitors in this tournament are expected to follow
high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and
conservation at all times. Any infraction of these basic
fundamentals may be deemed cause for disqualification.
Tackle and Equipment.
Only artificial lures may be used. No live bait or prepared
bait with the exception of pork rind strips and chunks may
be used.
Boat and Motor.
Any boat and motor may be used, but boats must have
an aerated live well, in operating condition, and all safety
equipment on board.
Official Checkpoint.
All competitors must be within sight of official checkpoint,
Live Oak Landing within regulation time. Boat numbers
must be turned in at weigh site when returning to
tournament headquarters.
Scoring.
Winners will be determined by total weight of their FIVE
largest fish. Competitors may not have more than FIVE
bass in their possession at any time.
All competitors must follow all State and Federal
fishing regulations.
By signing this form, I agree to abide by the rules this
tournament, and agree that all decisions made by the
tournament director, in regard to this tournament are
final. I also agree to hold this tournament, its directors
and sponsors and host marina harmless in case of
any injury and/or damage during participation in the
tournament or any other tournament activities. Winners
of cash and/or prizes given away in this tournament
are responsible for all applicable taxes that may be
due on items received from the tournament and are
not the responsibility of the tournament or its directors.
