Come join us for our annual day of summer crafting! This round robin of 25-30 crafts will keep you hopping and give you some great items
to go home with. Similar to the Holiday Crafts Workshop, but crafts will be more summer oriented and will give you lots of ideas to craft all
summer!! Supplies, snacks and lunch are included. Ages 5-8 must be accompanied by adult.

Participants will learn shotgun safety, sighting (on two levels: outdoors with moving targets and wooden rifles and inside with a computer
generated machine) and gun maintenance. The camp will end with our annual Summer Trap Championship. All shooting will take place in a
supervised environment. Shotguns and snacks provided. Beginner Group 1: Monday-Wednesday, Cost is $45/Beginner Group 2: MondayFriday, cost is $110/Experienced Group: Monday-Friday, cost is $147.

Food Preservation for Youth

Learn basic techniques of boiling water bath canning. Sessions will include making jam, salsa and refrigerator pickles. Youth will have
‘hands-on’ practice and take home a jar of each product. Youth need to bring an apron or large over-shirt to wear while participating in
cooking activities. Participants must bring a bagged lunch.

This day camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of safe shooting with an air rifle. Taught by a qualified and experienced 4-H instructor,

Come see, learn, and taste Alachua County agriculture! This day camp provides participants the opportunity to tour livestock operations,
nurseries, fruit and vegetable farms. Youth will also learn about the nutrition value of these foods. Alachua County has about 200,000 acres
in agricultural production. Participants must bring a bagged lunch and wear closed-toed shoes. Drinks and snacks provided.

4-H Camp

Camp will be held from June 29—July 3 at Camp Cherry Lake, Madison, Florida. Campers age 8 to 12 are invited to attend (do not have to
be a 4-H member). Daily activities include swimming, canoeing, games, nature study, recreation and fishing. Evening activities include
cabin skits, crafts, leisure sports, dancing, cabin competitions and camp fires. Campers will live in rustic cabins divided into boys and girls
sections overlooking beautiful Cherry Lake. Camp will be supervised by Alachua and Duval County 4-H faculty and UF/IFAS 4-H camp
staff.

All About Animals

The All About Animals Day Camp is an opportunity for children to learn about animal science and environmental education in a unique
way! The camp is divided into four parts: farm animals, Florida wildlife, marine animals, and pets! This day camp ends with a trip to the
Jacksonville Zoo on Friday. Snacks and all entry fees are provided. Participants must bring a bagged lunch (except for Friday) and wear
closed-toed shoes. Please note: Friday’s hours will be extended due to the trip to the Zoo.
