administered by Facebook. This Sweepstakes is solely sponsored by General Growth Services, Inc. (“GGSI” or
"Sponsor").
TO ENTER: Enter between March 16, 2015, 12:01 a.m. HST– March 22, 2015, 11:59 p.m. HST (“Entry Period”). There are
three methods of entry, limit 1 entry, per person, regardless of the method of entry.
i) visit the Mall and complete the entry form available near Centerstage.
or, ii) visit the Mall’s Facebook page at Facebook.com/AlaMoanaCenter and complete the online entry form as indicated
on the dedicated promotional tab.
or, iii) for an alternative method of entry (“AMOE”), mail an 8.5 x 11 inch letter, hand-written letter with your name,
email address, age, phone number, address, and forward it in a hand-written envelope to GGSI, attn: Shop a Le`a
Staycation Sweepstakes, Ala Moana Center Guest Services, 1450 Ala Moana Blvd. #1113 Honolulu, HI 96814.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal U.S. residents, age 18 or older. GGSI, and their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries,
partners, advertising agencies, prize providers, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents
("Sponsor and its agents") and members of their immediate families and people living in the same household of each are
not eligible.
WINNER SELECTION/ODDS: Winner will be selected on or about March 31, 2015 in a random drawing. Odds of winning
depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
GRAND PRIZE: One grand prize winner will receive the following grand prize package;
Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize is $3,945.
-A 3-night stay for two in an Ocean Front Suite at The Modern Honolulu
-Dinner for two at Morimoto Waikiki Restaurant
-Pool Side Day Bed Experience for two
-$500 Ala Moana Center Gift Card
CLAIMING PRIZE: Winner will be notified by email or phone and a response to the notification must be received by
sponsor within seven days of notification or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Winner will be
required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability and Publicity Release (“Release”) which must be received
by Sponsor or its agent within seven days of the date it was emailed or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate
winner selected. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be
selected. Sponsor will provide all applicable information for the winner to correspond with its agents or the prize
providers concerning prize redemption.
ADDITIONAL PRIZE DETAILS & RESTRICTIONS: Reservation and hotel stay must be completed as determined by Sponsor
or its Agents, its travel agents, or its prize provider and dates of the stay must be communicated to Sponsor or its Agents
well in advance of the intended use date. Restrictions apply, including expiration and blackout dates. Prize package
expires if not used by or before March 31, 2016. Winner is responsible for any costs/expenses not specifically listed
above including, but not limited to: taxes, drinks, transportation, gratuity, and all personal expenses and incidentals.
Ultimately, the Sponsor or the prize provider determine the winner’s hotel accommodations, this determination is based
on availability and is not negotiable. Gift cards, tickets, packages, and vouchers may be subject to the terms and
conditions of the issuer, including service fees, purchase, and time restrictions. No more than the stated number of
room(s) will be provided. The prize may not be sold or converted to cash. No prize substitutions allowed except by
Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Sponsor and its Agents reserve the right to require additional documentation from winner and their guest (name of
guest must be disclosed to Sponsor and its Agents within the timeframe Sponsor requires). Additional prize restrictions
and terms may be imposed. Under no circumstances will the Sponsor award more than the stated number of prizes. If
any portion of the Grand Prize is not accepted by the winner or if the winner cancels any bookings, the winner
acknowledges that the Sponsor is not responsible to provide a replacement prize for that portion of the prize. Once
bookings are finalized, no deviations will be allowed. The Grand Prize winner will not receive cash or any other form of
compensation if some portion of the Grand Prize is less than the Grand Prize ARV. The Sponsor reserves the right to
substitute a prize in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the Grand Prize is unavailable. All properly
claimed prizes will be awarded. The winner must accept the tax liability of all portions of the Grand Prize. The prize will
remain unawarded if the winner and four runner-up winners all fail to claim the prize. Winner and guest must travel on
the same itinerary. Winner may be required to make arrangements directly with prize provider or specified merchant All
prizes are awarded without warranty, express or implied, of any kind. ALL TAXES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE
WINNERS. Prizes are not transferable.
TERMS: By entering, entrants agree to: i) be contacted by the Sponsor, or Sponsor and its Agents for sweepstakes
purposes, via email, mail, or phone; ii) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judge whose
decisions are final, and iii) release the Sponsor and its Agents, prize providers, Facebook (“Released Parties”) from all
liability, injuries, loss and/or damage of any kind arising from their participation in the Sweepstakes and the acceptance
and use/misuse of any prize. Entrants agree that by accepting a prize, each winner consents to the use of his/her name,
hometown, and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes by Sponsor, and it’s agents and affiliates, without
additional compensation in all media (except if winner is a resident of TN or where otherwise prohibited by law).
Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Winners are responsible for all
federal, state and local taxes applicable to the acceptance and use of any prize. If the prize is $600.00 or higher a 1099
tax form will be issued in the winner’s name for the ARV. Mass entries, or entries generated by a script, macro or use of
automated devices will be disqualified. Entries become the property of the Sponsor, who is not responsible for lost, late,
illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the
Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control
impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If the
Winner does not comply with the terms of these Official Rules then the Sponsor is not obligated to award any portion of
the prize and the Sponsor may choose an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries. The prize packages
must be accepted or declined, as described; it may not be transferred except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. All
properly claimed prizes will be awarded.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server
or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer hardware or software or computer virus, other
technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind,
whether human, mechanical or electronic, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry
information regardless of cause. Entry material/data that has been tampered with or altered is void. Sponsor reserves
the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the Sweepstakes if the entry process becomes corrupted and the Sweepstakes
cannot be administered as planned, in such event, legitimate entries received prior to the action will be processed as
legitimate entries. Sponsor and its Agents are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. Entries
and prize claims void if incomplete, defective, altered, forged or obtained outside authorized channels. Persons found
tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes, or whom Sponsor reasonably believes to be causing fraud or
disruption, will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify multiple entries in excess of the limit stated, or
entries made through robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed or similar entry duplication method, and to
disqualify any individual using such a method.
Entrants, by participating in this Sweepstakes, hereby waive and release, and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor and its
Agents, prize providers (“Prize Provider”), Facebook, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors,
licensors, advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees and
representatives and agents, from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may
have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but
not limited to any injury, loss or damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person,
including death, and/or property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use
or misuse of any prize, or their participation in this Sweepstakes. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the
Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Neither Sponsor or its Agents are responsible for any typographical or
other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the Sweepstakes.
Any attempts by an individual to access any web site associated with this promotion via a bot script or other brute force
attack or any other unauthorized means will result in the IP address becoming ineligible. Use of automated entry devices
or programs are prohibited. As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that: a.) to waive all rights to
claim, punitive, incidental, consequential awards or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, b)
all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or the prize awarded, shall be resolved
individually, without resort to any form of class action, and c) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited
to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred and in no event shall entrant be entitled to receive attorneys‘ fees or other legal
costs. Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY
DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND
CIVIL LAWS AND IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES
FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. THIS
SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES.
