SHORT TERM VISITING PROFESSORSHIP IN PARIS

Created in 2002, the Alliance Program is a transatlantic joint-venture between Columbia University, the Ecole Polytechnique,
Sciences Po and Paris Pantheon Sorbonne University. The Alliance Program is pleased to announce the opening of one call for
professors seeking short-term Visiting Professor positions at Paris Pantheon Sorbonne University. Visits are one-week to one monthlong and take place during the academic year 2015-2016 between October and April.
 CONDITIONS

Paris Pantheon Sorbonne University welcomes professors from Columbia University for short-term visits during the academic
year 2015-2016, between October, 1st and April, 30th.

The visiting position is open to Columbia full-time officers of instruction of professorial rank, who work in fields relevant to Paris
Pantheon Sorbonne University (see website: http://www.univ-paris1.fr/).

The visiting professor is required to teach (2h30/week). The course / lecture can be given in English or in French. Paris Pantheon
Sorbonne University will cover flight expenses and provide a per diem (please refer to the guideline) to cover the living expenses.
 APPLICATION

Each application should be sponsored by a host professor at Paris Pantheon Sorbonne University, whose name should appear in
the application form.

Faculty who don’t already work with colleagues at Paris Pantheon Sorbonne University should contact the Alliance Program to
identify the best contact point.

Applications should include a resume and a teaching proposal (one-page).



Results will be announced by the end of April 2015.
