PPG | Guardian | AAMA | NFRC
PPG | CCWF (Certified Commercial Window Fabricator)
www.ppgcfp.com
Guardian Industries
www.guardian.com
All Weather is the first west coast window fabricator to qualify as a PPG Gold
Member in the CCWF program. All Weather was required to pass a rigorous
in-plant auditing process by PPG engineers, and we continue to have yearly
plant inspections to maintain our approved status. Due to this program we have
access to PPG’s commercial and residential glass and proudly offer them in our
windows and door products.
The Guardian Platinum Fabrication Designation
Gold Is the highest designation possible. Below are a few of the requirement to
be a designated Gold Member:
| Owning a tempering machine (with convection to aid the tempering of
Low-E Glass) capable of processing Solarban 60VT and 70VT (as well as their
other products) to PPG’s standards
| Manufacturing insulated units in house tested to test method ASTM E 2188-10;
specification: ASTM E 2190-10
All Weather’s tempering plants (located in Vacaville, CA and Phoenix, AZ) both
obtained Platinum fabrication level membership with Guardian Industries. This
certification goes beyond just plant auditing and inspection; it encompasses
every main operation required to produce a piece of glass. Order entry
guidelines, EDI compatibility, delivery requirements, packaging techniques,
disaster recovery plans, employee training / retention programs, and detailed
documentation of plant procedures are just a few of the requirements.
The Guardian Select Window Manufacturer Designation
To earn this prestigious title All Weather had to pass a rigorous plant audit similar
to the Platinum fabrication process, as well as audits in the manufacturing
process of our windows. Because of our certification we have access to the
architectural glass products that Guardian has to offer, and as a result can offer
them in our windows and doors.
| On site inspections by PPG to ensure our quality fabrication
| Supplying painted window products using PPG Duranar Coatings
| Supplying a majority of our business to the commercial industry, with excellent
lead times and on time deliveries.
| Having a long established track record of servicing the industry, offering local
support and personal visits to explore options and opportunities on projects.
We are proud of this achievement and enjoy our partnership with PPG. We hope
that our partnership with PPG and the training we receive on their products will
further our abilities to make your future projects a success.

Series 3000 1 5/8” Aluminum Windows
Introduction
Construction
Our Series 3000 1 5/8” product line uses 6063 extruded aluminum and are age
hardened to a T-6 rating for strength and durability. The Series 3000 windows
have integral extrusion walls with a nominal web thickness of .125” , and a wall
thickness of .094”. The nailing fins will be .050” thick. The material thickness
on all wall sections meets or exceeds commercial window standards.
Corners of frame and ventilators are mitered and welded for structural integrity.
All muntin and other intermediate bars are firmly attached to their cross joints
and their abutting sash sections. The frame sill, vents, and intermediate bars
contain weep provisions and are sloped for positive drainage to the exterior.
Frames are drilled and tapped to receive screen attachment hardware as
required. All surfaces to be glazed have a bead retaining notch.
The Series 3000 1 5/8” window line is available in the following finishes:

Series 5000 2 1/4” Aluminum Windows
Introduction
Our Series 5000 2 1/4” product line uses 6063 extruded aluminum and are age
hardened to a T-6 rating for strength and durability. The Series 5000 windows
have integral extrusion walls with a nominal web thickness of .125”, and a wall
thickness of .094”. The nailing fins are .062” thick. The material thickness on all
wall sections meets or exceeds commercial window standards.
The pour and debridge thermal break profiles are extruded as a single extrusion
with a cavity for the thermal break material. Once the profile is extruded, the
cavity is filled with a two part polyurethane that has a low coefficient of thermal
conductivity. After the polyurethane has cured, a saw is used to debridge the
profile by ripping the aluminum web of the cavity. The profile is now thermally
broken, providing both improved thermal performance as well as improved
condensation resistance.
The Series 5000 2 1/4” window line is available in the following finishes:

All Weather has comprehensive files containing all historical testing. Each of
the tests in the proceeding list are current, however, our archived testing may
be more specific for your particular project and will be provided upon request.
Acoustical Testing
All Weather has completed acoustical testing on several window configurations
and glass make-ups, including the test results listed below. Additional testing
has been performed and can be provided upon request.
| STC 41 / OITC 32 Fixed Awning Combo 8.8 mm Lami Over 1/4” Glass
| STC 41 / OITC 33 Fixed Casement Combo 8.8 mm Lami Over 3/16” Glass
Construction
Corners of frame and ventilators are mitered and welded for structural integrity.
All muntin and other intermediate bars are firmly attached to their cross joints
and their abutting sash sections. The frame sill, vents, and intermediate bars
contain weep provisions and are sloped for positive drainage to the exterior.
Frames are drilled and tapped to receive screen attachment hardware as
required. All surfaces to be glazed have a bead retaining notch.
Hardware
Structural Testing
Our Series 5000 projected, casement and fixed windows have been tested to
AAMA standards as listed below: (Please see test reports located in the back of
this section for window sizes.)
Projected & Casement Windows: Vents shall operate on 4-bar heavy duty
stainless steel hinges, and have die cast zinc cam handles with pole ring.
Project-in type units use a snaplock or cam handle with pawl. White bronze
hardware or brushed nickel hardware is available upon request.
Series 5000 awning and casement alternate: A worm gear rotary control operator
with butt hinges and side mounted locking handle is provided for each casement
ventilator. Casements can have a multipoint lock system upon request. Awnings can
also be equipped with worm gear rotary hardware with loose pin/concealed hinges
and locking handles on the jambs.

Screens
| Each unit must be installed level, plumb and square with a ¼” clearance on
the jambs and the header of the window.
Screens are made of painted roll formed aluminum to match the window frame
and use charcoal fiberglass mesh with plastic wicket doors. Wire mesh and
Ultraview mesh screens are available upon request. The screens are installed
and are removable from the inside of the building (Exception: Our project-in
hopper screen is mounted on the exterior).
Series 5000 rotary casement and awning windows will have flat screens, also
removable from inside the building.
Glazing
The Series 5000 offers a 1” OA on insulated glass units. All Series 5000 have
square extruded stops.
Weather-stripping
| Remove wet plaster, mortar, stucco and cement immediately.
(Note: windows should only be cleaned with mild soap and water.)
| Do not set items on the sill.
|
In nail-on applications, a bead of caulking material should be applied to the
inside nail-on fin just before installation to insure a water tight seal between
the building and the window. In an equal leg window a bead of caulking
material should also be applied.
| Any attachment screws or bolts should be sealed during the process of
installation.
| After installation is complete, building paper and stucco wire (if a stucco
application) should overlap the window nail-on flange.
Our Series 5000 casement, awnings, and project-in windows are weather
stripped with a santoprene, 64A durometer black bulb insert. It is inserted
in an extruded slot at the perimeter of the vent or opening. Two (2) rows are
used to ensure low air infiltration and weather penetration prevention. The bulb
seal can be replaced in the field after installation, if necessary, for maintenance
purposes.
Care & Maintenance
Installation Guidelines
| Window should only be cleaned with mild soap and water.
| All windows must be installed in prepared openings in accordance with AAMA
recommendations and the below-listed manufacturers’ recommendations
(If shop drawings are required, please refer to approved shop drawings for
installation):
| Windows should be kept free of all dust, dirt, paint and plaster.
| The sill should be kept clean at all times. A vacuum cleaner with a crevice
attachment is recommended.
|
Caution: Damage will occur to the frame finish, and to the sealed glass unit,
if solvents, petroleum products, or caustic chemicals such as: acetone or
paint thinner are used to clean window frames. Damage caused by this type
of abuse is not covered under warranty.
| All vent panels must be closed and locked.

Series 6000 / 6500 2 1/2” - 3” Thermal Break Aluminum Windows
Introduction
be more specific for your particular project and will be provided upon request.
Our Series 6000 (Outside Glazed) and 6500 (Inside Glazed) product line use 6063
extruded aluminum, age hardened to a T-6 rating for strength and durability.
The profiles for this series are extruded as 2 separate parts and are then joined
into a single profile using thermal struts. The aluminum extrusions are knurled
and then crimped along the thermal profile to ensure a tight grip. The finished
profile is thermally broken providing both improved thermal performance as
well as improved condensation resistance. We use a 20mm offset thermal strut,
although larger or smaller profiles are available upon request. (3” windows use
a 31.9 mm strut)
Construction
The Series 6000/6500 window line is available in the following finishes:
|
|
|
|
|
|
Class I Clear Anodized**
Class I Bronze Anodized**
White Powder Coat**
Custom Anodized
Custom Powder Coat or 70% Kynar Paint Color
A combination of the above finishes on the Interior vs. Exterior
Before the interior and exterior profiles are joined with the thermal strut, they can be
painted or anodized with seperate colors for a two-toned window. Other Finishes
may be available, please contact us. ** Indicates Finishes In Stock.
Testing
Our Series 6000 and 6500 projected and fixed windows manufactured with
a 20mm thermal strut have been tested to AAMA standards as listed below:
(Please see test reports located in the back of this section for window sizes)
| Series 6000 Fixed – FW-AW80
| Series 6000 Awning – AP-AW80
| Series 6000 Casement – C-AW80
Corners of frame and ventilators are mitered and crimped for structural
integrity. Our typical construction uses 2 corner keys per corner in the vent
and the frame. We can manufacture the frame and vent with up to 4 corner
keys per corner. All muntin and other intermediate bars are firmly attached to
their cross joints and their abutting sash sections. The frame sill, vents, and
intermediate bars contain weep provisions. Frames are drilled and tapped to
receive screen attachment hardware as required. All surfaces to be glazed have
a bead retaining notch.
Hardware
Projected & Casement Windows: Vents shall operate on 4-bar heavy duty
stainless steel hinges, and have die cast zinc cam handles with pole ring.
brushed nickel hardware is available upon request.
Series 6000/6500 awning and casement alternate: A worm gear rotary control operator
with butt hinges and side mounted locking handle is provided for each casement
ventilator. Casements can have a multipoint lock system upon request. Awnings can
also be equipped with worm gear rotary hardware with loose pin/concealed hinges and
locking handles on the jambs.
Screens
Screens are made of painted roll formed aluminum to match the window frame
and use charcoal fiberglass mesh with plastic wicket doors. Wire mesh and
Ultraview mesh screens are available upon request. The screens are installed
and are removable from the inside of the building.
Series 6000/6500 rotary casement and awning windows will have flat screens, also
removable from inside the building.
All Weather has comprehensive files containing all historical testing. Each of
the tests in the proceeding list are current, however, our archived testing may

| Any attachment screws or bolts should be sealed during the process of
installation.
The Series 6000/6500 offer a 1” OA on insulating glass units and 1/2” SG.
Weather-stripping
Our Series 6000 and 6500 fixed, casement, and awning windows are weather
stripped with a bulb weatherstrip. It is inserted in an extruded slot at the exterior
perimeter of the vent and on the interior perimeter of the frame bar. 2 rows are
used to ensure low air infiltration and prevent weather penetration. The bulb
seal can be replaced in the field after installation, if necessary, for maintenance
purposes.
| After installation is complete, building paper and stucco wire (if a stucco
application) should overlap the window nail-on flange.
Care & Maintenance
| Windows should be kept free of all dust, dirt, paint and plaster.
| The sill should be kept clean at all times. A vacuum cleaner with a crevice
attachment is recommended.
| Window should only be cleaned with mild soap and water.
Installation Guidelines
| All windows must be installed in prepared openings in accordance with AAMA
recommendations and the below-listed manufacturers’ recommendations
(If shop drawings are required, please refer to approved shop drawings for
installation):
|
Caution: Damage will occur to the frame finish, and to the sealed glass
unit, if solvents, petroleum products, or caustic chemicals such as: acetone
or paint thinner are used to clean window frames. Damage caused by this
type of abuse is not covered under warranty.
| All vent panels must be closed and locked.
| Each unit must be installed level, plumb and square with a ¼” clearance on
the jambs and the header of the window.
|

Series 7000 Thermally Broken Aluminum Swing Door
Introduction
Thermal Testing
Series 7000 product line uses 6063 extruded aluminum age hardened to a
T-5 rating for strength and durability. The profiles for this series are extruded
as two separate parts and are then joined into a single profile using thermal
struts. Polyamide bars and aluminum extrusions are attached via continuous
mechanical crimping. The finished profile is now thermally broken providing both
improved thermal performance as well as improved condensation resistance.
We currently are using two 18mm thermal struts in the frame. The frame is
82mm (3.250”) in depth and the sash is 75mm (2.837”)
Series 7000 Thermally Broken Swing Door has been simulated and tested
according to NFRC 100/200/500.
The Series 7000 Thermally Broken Swing Door line is available in the following
finishes:
|
|
|
|
|
|
Class I Clear Anodized**
Class I Bronze Anodized**
White Powder Coat**
Custom Anodized
Custom Powder Coat or 70% Kynar Paint Color
A combination of the above finishes on the Interior vs. Exterior
Before the interior and exterior profiles are joined with the thermal strut, they can be
painted or anodized with separate colors for a two-toned window.
Other Finishes may be available, please contact us. ** Indicates Finishes In Stock.
Acoustical Testing
Series 7000 Thermally Broken Swing Door meets the following STC performance
ratings:
| STC 36 / OITC 29
| STC 39 / OITC 32
| STC 40 / OITC 32
1/4” over 3/16” with a 1” OA
3/16” over 8.8mm with a 1” OA
3/16” over 8.8mm Lami with a 1 1/4” OA
Construction
Corners of the frame, the sash, sidelites and transoms are assembled using
a die-cast aluminum corner key for structural integrity. Corners are filled with
silicone for additional reinforcement. The frame sill contains weep provisions.
All surfaces to be glazed are fitted by snap bead. They are positioned directly
into the channels of the aluminum profiles using a EPDM gasket that provides
better air and water tightness.
Hardware
Hinges
Hinges are fabricated from extruded aluminum with non-removable,
non-magnetic stainless steel hinge shaft. Hinges provide horizontal adjustment
of +/- 1.00 mm (+/-0.039 in.). Hinge-installation does not require machining of
profiles.
Cylinder Lock
Mortise-type with 11 stainless steel pins. A special cylinder-key profile is used
to prevent the use of picks and break-in tools. The cylinder-lock has a high
torsion-resistance and is rated for 50,000 cycles.
Lock
Multipoint type, reversible, and corrosion-resistant. The lock includes adjustable
rolling pins, dead bolt and latch, mortise-construction with reinforced lever
spring system.

Series 7000 Thermally Broken Aluminum Swing Door
Handles
Our standard handle is the Tokyo handle, available in painted black and painted
grey. Our optional handle is the Toledo handle, available only in brushed
stainless steel.
Installation Guidelines
| Completed frames and panels will ship as individual units to be assembled
together in the field by professional installers.
| All doors must be installed in openings prepared in accordance with AAMA
recommendations and the below-listed manufacturers’ recommendations.
If shop drawings are required, please refer to approved shop drawings for installation.
Tokyo Handle Toledo Handle
| Each unit must be installed level, plumb and square with a ¼” clearance on
the jambs and the header of the door.
| Remove wet plaster, mortar, stucco and cement immediately.
(Note: doors should only be cleaned with mild soap and water.)
Kick Plate
| Do not set items on the sill.
A 10” kick plate can be achieved by stacking 2 bars within the sash.
Screens
Screens are not available for the Series 7000 Thermally Broken Swing Door.
Glazing
The Series 7000 Thermally Broken Swing Door offer a standard 1” OA or a
1 1/4” OA upon request.
Gaskets
| In nail-on applications, a bead of caulking material should be applied to the
inside nail-on fin just before installation to insure a water-tight seal between
the building and the door.
| Any attachment screws or bolts should be sealed during the process of
installation.
The Series 7000 frame is hollow so a clearance hole for the head of the fastener
should be used to fasten the outer most web to the building. The head of the
fastener must be sealed to the frame and the clearance hole should be filled and
capped.
| After installation is completed, building paper and stucco wire, if a stucco
application, should overlap the window nail-on flange.
All gaskets are made of EPDM. The central gasket is to form a continuous and
tight seal. Pre-formed vulcanized corners are used. Central-gasket joints are
cut at a 90 degree-angle and bonded to the vulcanized corners.

Care & Maintenance
| Doors should be kept free of all dust, dirt, paint and plaster.
| The sill should be kept clean at all times. A vacuum cleaner with a crevice
attachment is recommended.
| Doors should only be cleaned with mild soap and water.
|
Caution: Damage will occur to the finish and to the sealed glass unit if
solvents, petroleum products, or caustic chemicals, such as acetone or paint
thinner are used to clean window frames. Damage caused by this type of

Series 8000 5” Thermal Strut Sliding Glass Door
Introduction
Acoustical Testing
Series 8000 product line uses 6063 extruded aluminum age hardened to a T-6
rating for strength and durability. The profiles for this series are extruded as two
separate parts and are then joined into a single profile using thermal struts. The
aluminum extrusions are knurled and then crimped along the thermal profile to
ensure a tight grip. The finished profile is now thermally broken providing both
improved thermal performance as well as improved condensation resistance.
We currently are using two 14.6 mm offset thermal strut in the frame, 31.9 struts
in the lead stiles, top and bottom, and a 24 strut on the interlocker.
Series 8000 sliding patio door meets the following STC performance ratings:
The Series 8000 Sliding Door line is available in the following finishes:

Thermal Testing
Series 8000 sliding patio door has been simulated and tested according to
NFRC 100/200/500.
| U-Factor as low as .32 at standard NFRC Size
Construction
Corners of frame, vent and fixed panels are square cut and screwed together for
structural integrity. All muntin and other intermediate bars are firmly attached to
their cross joints and their abutting sash sections. The frame sill contains weep
provisions. All surfaces to be glazed are marine glazed.
Structural Testing
Hardware
Series 8000 sliding patio door meets AAMA standards as listed below: (Please
see test reports located in the back of this section for door sizes.)
Handles
Our standard handle is a pull handle on the vent with an interior thumbturn locking mechanism. Keyed exterior locks are available with this handle.
Flush-mount (recessed pull) handles are available as an upgrade. If a keyed
lock is desired with the flush-mount, a separate Adams Rite keyed locking
cylinder will be installed.

All Weather has comprehensive files containing all historical testing. Each of
the tests in the proceeding list are current, however, our archived testing may
be more specific for your particular project and will be provided upon request.
Rollers
Standard rollers are 3” stainless steel precision bearing rollers.

Screens
Screens are made of extruded aluminum to match the window frame and use
charcoal fiberglass mesh. Ultraview mesh is available upon request. Standard
screens available on XO, OX, OXXO configurations.
| In nail-on applications, a bead of caulking material should be applied to the
inside nail-on fin just before installation to insure a water-tight seal between
the building and the door.
| Any attachment screws or bolts should be sealed during the process of
installation.
The 8000 frame is hollow so a clearance hole for the head of the fastener should be
used to fasten the outer most web to the building. The head of the fastener must be
sealed to the frame and the clearance hole should be filled and capped.
Glazing
The Series 8000 offers a 1” OA on insulating glass units.
| After installation is completed, building paper and stucco wire, if a stucco
application, should overlap the window nail-on flange.
Weather-stripping
Our Series 8000 Sliding patio doors are weather stripped with pile weatherstripping. All of the weather-stripping utilizes triple-fin and quiet-fin technology
to reduce noise during operation and improve weathering performance.
Care & Maintenance
| Doors should be kept free of all dust, dirt, paint and plaster.
Installation Guidelines
| The sill should be kept clean at all times. A vacuum cleaner with a crevice
attachment is recommended.
| Units ship with glazed panels and knock down frame for on-site assembly.
| Doors should only be cleaned with mild soap and water.
| All doors must be installed in prepared openings in accordance with AAMA
recommendations and the below-listed manufacturers’ recommendations.
If shop drawings are required, please refer to approved shop drawings for installation.
|
Caution: Damage will occur to the finish and to the sealed glass unit if
solvents, petroleum products, or caustic chemicals, such as acetone or paint
thinner are used to clean window frames. Damage caused by this type of
abuse is not covered under warranty.
| Each unit must be installed level, plumb and square with a ¼” clearance on
the jambs and the header of the door.
| For nail-on applications the header must not be nailed. You may place a nail
½ inch above the fin and bend it over the fin, to allow for header deflection.
| Remove wet plaster, mortar, stucco and cement immediately.
(Note: doors should only be cleaned with mild soap and water.)
| Do not set items on the sill or use it for any other purpose.
