Sameer Tapia and Gautam Bhatikar co­head the firm’s impressive shipping, maritime and aviation practice. Tapia is a
founding and senior partner of the firm, and his well­established dispute resolution practice has a strong focus on
aviation. In a notable case, he led the team defending a high­profile airline in a dispute involving an alleged claim for the
wrong delivery of diamonds. Bhatikar’s shipping practice includes both wet and dry shipping. He has acted for and
