Fall Quilt Retreat #3 – Project Info November 14-16, 2014 Instructor: Kandi Kelderman & Kim Schissel Kim and I are longtime friends with a mutual love of quilting and color. We enjoy taking the same pattern and completing it separately, then unveiling it to one another. In our book,Hot Flashes of Inspiration, we demonstrate this with the hope you are inspired to “do it your way'' or, perhaps, one of our ways! We will feature a trunk show of new items, answer any book/ pattern questions you might have, demo a few shortcuts we have found and guide you through a few new projects. (If you haven't made a Christmas bird yet...you probably will.) An interactive fabric and color class is also scheduled where everyone comes away from it with a new perspective, including us! We will also include some winter-themed projects that can made non-seasonal, books and patterns to purchase, door prizes and chocolate and lots of quilting energy! Supplies: To help you with these projects, bring a stash of solid fat quarters and patterned scraps - we will have some scraps as well for you.
