Existing Water Line • For Optional Install - 1/2” Pipe Thread Fittings, refer to Optional Install 2. *Polyethylene is a rigid plastic tubing, typically known as ‘ice maker line’. 1. Mount Solenoid Valve Assembly such that the four access points to the water, power, and data connections are maintained. STANDARD INSTALL 1. Locate a convenient spot to tap into your 1/4” Polyethylene Accessory Supply Line. It should be within 5’ of where you mounted the Solenoid Valve Assembly. Refer to the System Layout. 2. Turn off Water Source. Carefully cut the Supply Line with a razor blade or scissors. Make the cut as perpendicular as possible to the Supply Line. Insert each cut end into the opposed ends of the ‘T’ fitting, pressing firmly until they bottom out. 3. Using the 5’ piece of tubing provided, insert one end into the Shutoff Valve and the other end into the Water Filter Inlet, pressing firmly until they bottom out. You may use the entire 5’ of tubing or cut it if desired. The piece of tubing between Shutoff Valve and Filter may be up to 5 feet long. 1. Turn off the Water Source to the faucet. 2. Using a wrench, loosen and remove the Cold Water Supply Line from the Water Source. 3. Install the Brass Fitting on the right side of the Faucet Adapter as shown and tighten with wrenches. 4. Install the Faucet Adapter onto the Water Source and tighten with a wrench. 5. Install the Cold Water Supply Line to the Faucet Adapter and tighten with a The piece of tubing between Shutoff wrench. Place the bowl in desired location, upside down. • NOTE: We provide three options for installation. You will ONLY use one. 2. Set your Shutoff Valve to approximately 45° as indicated above. 3. Verify all connections remain dry. 4. Insert SVA Power Plug from Power Supply into Power Jack on the Solenoid Valve Assembly. Safely route the Water/Data Cable Assembly from the Bowl to the Solenoid Valve Assembly. In cable locations prone to accidental impact - cabinet toe kick area, pot and pan cabinet storage, cleaning supply under sink storage - be sure to securely locate Water/Data Cable Assembly against a wall or shelf where the cable cannot be disturbed. 2. Insert the Data Plug into the Data Jack. 3. Secure the Quick Disconnect Coupler to the Quick Disconnect Insert. One option provided is the Tie Wraps and Tie Wrap Mounts. No kinks in the water line: • Avoid bending the Water/Data Cable Assembly too sharply. 4. To separate the Quick Disconnect, press release button with your fingertip. Valves in both sides will close to prevent leakage. • If a sharp bend is required: – S eparate the Water Line from the Split Wrap Tubing where the bend is required. –C ut the tubing and install one of the 90° Elbows provided. –D o NOT cut the Data Cable.
