Members must be familiar with all rules; however, text in blue font are revised for 2015.
No running. No boisterous or rough play.
No diving allowed.
Children should not use the swimming pool without adult supervision.
No person under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be allowed to use the pool.
No person with skin, eye, ear, or nasal infections allowed in the pool.
No person with communicable diseases allowed in the pool.
No animal or pets allowed in the pool or on the deck.
No glass allowed in the pool or on the deck. No food or drink allowed in the pool (except water).
No smoking on the pool deck or on facility grounds.
All persons using the pool do so at their own risk. Owners and management are not responsible for
accidents or injuries.
Management reserves the right to deny use of the pool to anyone at any time.
The pool is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. during peak season. Hours are reduced during opening and
closing weeks when school is in session; please refer to the clubhouse and website for updated information.
These hours are subject to change due to but not limited by: available sunlight, inclement weather, and
programming needs.
The pool capacity may be limited during allotted extra hours when staffing is minimal.
The maximum number of swimmers allowed in the pool is 816.
The first aid kits are located at the lifeguard station.
The emergency telephone is located near the fitness room below the balcony.
The AED is located in the fitness room office.
Verbal abuse of staff or members may result in loss of facility access.
Bathing suits and shower shoes only allowed in the pool. Please no undergarments or street clothes.
Children of diaper age must wear approved swimming diapers and plastic covers in the pool. THIS
MEANS NO CLOTH OR REGULAR DIAPERS. SWIM DIAPERS ARE NOT DESIGNED OR
GUARANTEED TO BE LEAK PROOF AND CAN STILL CONTAMINATE THE WATER. IT IS
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PARENTS TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES IN ORDER TO
PREVENT A 4 - 13 HOUR POOL CLOSURE (25 minutes in cases of vomit):
a) Children who have vomited, displayed a fever, or have had a loose bowel, should not be allowed in the
pool for 24 hours.
b) Parents should remind their children to frequently use the rest room facilities when visiting the pool.
c) First-time offenders will be asked to obtain appropriate swimwear for their child (see Front Desk;
some may be available for a fee). Subsequent swimwear violations may result in fines.
Wet bathing suits are not allowed in the building. Please make every effort to dry off as much as possible.
Children under 13 must be accompanied appropriately. See Membership & Guest Policy for more
information.

23. Guests: This is a private pool for use by members and their guests only. The guest policy during the pool
season is as follows:
a. Each household is allotted 30 guest passes per pool season; this is at no cost to members for the
initial 30 passes. Seasonal allotment is independent of daily guest policy allowances. These are
deducted upon check-in to the facility. Once 30 passes are exhausted for the household, any
guests for the duration of the season will incur a Guest Pass fee of $5 per guest, per visit.
b. Each member, 18 years of age and older, is allowed the maximum number of guests per household
daily. Members of age 16-17 may bring only 1 guest per visit if unaccompanied by an adult.
c. Standard guest policy Monday – Friday allows up to 6 guests per household.
d. Standard guest policy Saturday – Sunday allows up to 4 guests per household.
e. Maximum guests allowed on any day is 8 guests per household. An Extra Guest Fee will apply
for each guest over the standard policy allowance per guest, per visit. Per guest in excess of the
standard limit, Extra Guest Fee is $5 per guest M-F and $10 per guest Sa-Su. See fee schedule for
details. There shall be no guest allowance in excess of the maximum, regardless of payment.
f. Members are required to stay with their guests at all times.
g. Guest passes will be deducted for all guests, whether standard or maximum numbers.
h. Guest pass fees will be charged in addition to fees for guests in excess of the standard policy.
i. No guests at all are allowed on the date of major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day/4 th
July and Labor Day). Guests are allowed on days surrounding those holidays.

Guest policies will be reviewed annually and may be subject to change.
Attempts to violate guest policy or any other facility rule may result in suspension.
24. Use of the large pool slide: Persons must be at least 48 inches tall or have passed the swim test as
prescribed by the lifeguards to use the large slide by themselves. Swim tests are required for anyone under
48” in height in order to use the large slide. Swim tests are administered during pool breaks. Those passing
the swim test will receive a wrist band; this should be kept for each visit to the pool slide. Swimming
ability is at the discretion of the lifeguards and may be re-tested at any time if safety is a concern or if the
wrist band is not worn. (All other slide rules are listed at the bottom of the slide, please make yourself
familiar with these rules).
25. Use of small and large pool slides: For the safety of everyone, anyone on the slide must be able to slide
alone (sliding on someone’s lap is not permitted for safety reasons).
26. Breaks: Both pools will be closed for pool breaks during the last ten minutes of each hour for everyone
under the age of 18. Infants (ages 12 months and below) may remain in the large recreational pool if they
remain in the arms of the adult at all times. All who are out of the pool during this 10-minute break are
required to remain at least 4 ft. back from the pool edge. Please use this time to remind your children to use
the restrooms.
27. Prior to the opening of the pool, those interested in lap swimming may use the lap pool only from 6 – 10
AM Monday – Friday and from 8 – 10 am Saturday and Sunday. You must be continuously swimming
laps to participate. You MUST be 16 years of age or older to participate in lap swimming, and complete
and sign a Lap Swim waiver. No exceptions.
28. Two (2) lap lanes will be open at all times for lap swimming only in the lap pool. During Swim Team
practices, the Swim Team shall have exclusive use of all lap lanes. Current practice schedules is as
follows: M-Th 5:30-8:00 PM, F 6:00-7:00 PM, Sat 8:30-10:00 AM. Any changes will be posted to the
website and front desk. See pool attendants for permitted areas of use during these times.
29. Children given warnings more than once by lifeguards will get a 5-minute “time-out” from pool activities.
If behavior continues, child(ren) may be asked to leave facility.
30. Inflatable devices are not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: water wings, rafts and baby floats.
Tennis balls, Frisbees and football-tossing are not permitted in the pool facility as patrons can be hit by
these objects resulting in injury. Nerf balls and foam logs (noodles) are permitted.
31. Chairs and tables may not be reserved prior to the opening of the pool for general use each day. Leaving
the pool area for more than 30 minutes during will be considered forfeiting any chairs or tables that were in
use, which may be removed from chairs and tables.
32. For your safety, adults should not swim alone.
