Certain “Republican” billionaires are now either endorsing or pumping millions of dollars into the campaign to normalize homosexual activity, even “gay marriage.” The result of this campaign, if successful, will be: To destroy the winning Reagan coalition of social, economic, and foreign policy conservatives. Marginalize and isolate traditional conservatives; drive millions of Christians out of the Republican Party. Elect more liberal Republicans and Democrats to office. Even Fox News financially supports the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association. Peter LaBarbera’s report on Fox News is available at www.usasurvival.org 1 Out Magazine (left) These wealthy individuals include: Paul E. Singer, the founder and CEO of hedge fund Elliott Management Corporation and The Paul E. Singer Family Foundation. He created the American Unity PAC. The Elliott funds have grown to approximately $23 billion today. The Paul E. Singer Foundation is teaming up with the Daniel S. Loeb Family Foundation to award the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) major grants over three years. Singer sits on the board of Commentary Magazine and he is chairman of the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, Inc. Peter Thiel, Facebook's first institutional investor, is a homosexual activist who co-founded the PayPal company and has links to libertarian think tanks such as the Cato Institute. He also contributes to the American Foundation for Equal Rights. Billionaire David Koch is not directly funding homosexual groups, but he and his brother Charles are funding the pro-homosexual marriage Cato Institute. Plus, David Koch signed the gay marriage brief delivered to the U.S. Supreme court. Groups backed by billionaires Charles and David Koch are reported to be spending nearly $1 billion ahead of 2016's elections. It will be hard for the groups taking this money to ignore his commitment to homosexual rights and homosexual marriage. Daniel Schulman, a senior editor in the Washington bureau of Mother Jones magazine and the author of Sons of Wichita: How the Koch Brothers Became America’s Most Powerful and Private Dynasty, says the Koch brothers “could nudge the Republican 2 Party to a more moderate place” by “actively backing the causes of marriage equality or reproductive rights.” Koch appeared in Walters’ ABC special program on “The 10 Most Fascinating People Of 2014.” The interview was featured in various stories highlighting Koch’s personal views as a “social liberal.” He’s for abortion and homosexual rights. Only 57 GOP Members of the House and Senate Sign a Pro-Traditional Marriage Legal Brief Only six of 54 Republican members of the Senate signed a pro-traditional marriage legal brief to the U.S. Supreme Court. In total, 6 Republican Senators and 51 Republican members of the House signed the brief (for a total of 57). By contrast, USA Today noted that 44 Democratic senators and 167 Democratic House members filed a brief last month urging the court to approve same-sex marriage and that “The brief included the full House and Senate [Democratic] leadership teams.” The Republican senators signing the brief included: Senator Ted Cruz of Texas Senator Steve Daines of Montana Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina These developments strongly suggest that while the homosexual movement remains solidly in control of the Democratic Party, the tactics of harassment and intimidation that we saw wielded against the religious freedom bill in Indiana are taking their toll on the Republican Party as a whole. The Bush Family President George W. Bush did not support homosexual marriage, but he promoted the homosexual agenda in many other ways, earning sympathetic press releases from the “gay” Log Cabin Republicans. Michael Guest, one of several open homosexuals appointed by Bush to various posts, was given the position of U.S. Ambassador to Romania. During Guest’s swearing-in ceremony, it was reported that then-Secretary of State Colin Powell made a point to recognize Guest’s “partner.” In 2006, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice swore in another openly homosexual Bush appointee, Mark Dybul, to be the global AIDS coordinator, and acknowledged his “partner.” First Lady Laura Bush looked on with approval. 3 Secretary Rice officiates at the Swearing-In Ceremony for the Honorable Mark Dybul, as U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator. Also present was First Lady Mrs. Laura Bush and Dybul “partner,” Jason Claire. Following the Lead of the British “Conservative” Party Nick Herbert, a top member of the British Conservative Party, is an ominous indication of where else the GOP may be heading under the influence of the self-proclaimed “gay conservatives.” Herbert said in a speech at the libertarian Cato Institute that “I’m especially honored to be sharing a platform with one of Britain’s most valuable exports, Andrew Sullivan.” The HIV-positive Sullivan, a speaker at the same event, calls himself a “gay conservative” but has married another man and was caught soliciting “bare-back” or dangerous, unprotected anal sex on the Internet. Herbert said he looked forward to the day when “the Prime Minister of the UK or the President of the United States could just as easily be gay as black.” President George W. Bush’s wife, Laura, made headlines in 2010 by endorsing homosexual marriage. Laura Bush said, "There are a lot of people who have trouble coming to terms with that because they see marriage as traditionally between a man and a woman. But I also know that, you know, when couples are committed to each other and love each other, that they ought to have, I think, the same sort of rights that everyone has." His vice president, Dick Cheney, was caught in an embarrassing family situation when his daughter Mary came out as a lesbian and had a baby through artificial insemination. The former vice president supports homosexual marriage. Barbara Bush, President George W. Bush's daughter, attended a fundraising event for the American Foundation for Equal Rights. Speaking at a “Spirit of Lincoln” Log Cabin Republican event, Mary Cheney said: And it is as a conservative that I believe the cornerstone of our society isn’t the government — it’s the family. And because of that — I believe our society must do everything we can to ensure that all families have the greatest opportunity for success. I’ve said it before — and I’m sure I will say it again – all families — regardless of how they look, how they’re made or where they live — all 4 families deserve to be treated with the same respect, dignity, legal rights and recognitions as every other — I firmly believe that. And I firmly believe that that is the true conservative position. As Prime Minister Cameron said when he spoke in support of marriage equality in Great Britain, “I don’t support gay marriage despite being a conservative. I support gay marriage because I am a conservative.” Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) claims to be opposed to same-sex marriage. But he has reportedly picked Tim Miller, “one of the most prominent gay Republicans in Washington politics,” as his communications director. General Pace was forced out by the George W. Bush Administration because he opposed homosexuality as immoral. Robert R. Reilly, author of the highly controversial (and suppressed) book, Making Gay Okay, says the capitulation of the Republicans to the homosexual lobby was highlighted when, under President George W. Bush, General Peter Pace was hung out to dry for expressing his view that homosexuality is immoral. That was in 2007. Reilly says that National Review, The American Spectator, The Wall Street Journal, and The Weekly Standard all refused to review his book. . 5 The Washington, D.C. homosexual prostitution ring story broke in 1989. But as one informed source put it, “the authorities, including the Congress and U.S. attorney's offices, sat on their hands and said ho-hum, not interested in what people do privately et cetera.” Author Alan Stang commented, “So this was one of the biggest scandals-and biggest stories-in the history of this country. It put the nation in grave danger. It made Watergate look like two-bit shoplifting. But it was completely squelched, even after Spence [Craig Spence - one of the ring's big-spending clients] conveniently turned up dead-allegedly ‘suicided’ in a Boston hotel room five months later. Did he decide to ‘kill himself’ after somebody from Washington paid him a visit? Did somebody from Washington suicide him?” Austin Ruse reports that this brief for homosexual marriage was signed by no less than twenty-six senior Romney staffers, at least forty senior policy staffers for George Bush père et fils, also six Huntsman staffers, two former Scott Walker staffers, one sitting Governor (Massachusetts) and two sitting U.S. Senators (Collins of Maine, and Kirk of Illinois). Three former Reagan-era personnel also signed, including former Massachusetts Governor William Weld and Reagan Chief of Staff Kenneth Duberstein. 6 Billionaire David Koch signed the gay marriage brief as well. In addition to the 1989 D.C. prostitution ring story, the Republican Party has had some homosexual scandals of its own to answer for. At the time, we warned that “we may be looking at emerging evidence of a homosexual recruitment ring that operated on Capitol Hill.” In the case of former Republican Rep. Mark Foley of Florida, a 52-year-old man, what cannot be disputed is that House leaders knew that he was a homosexual but permitted him to remain in Congress despite the emergence of emails he sent to a 16year-old former page asking for a photo and other personal information. It turned out that two top Republican congressional staffers aware of the problem early on were themselves homosexual. They were Kirk Fordham, Foley’s former chief of staff who resigned as an aide to Representative Thomas M. Reynolds, and Jeff Trandahl, the former clerk of the House of Representatives who had oversight of the page program. Fordham and Trandahl “did not hide their homosexuality, and they were well known in Washington’s gay community,” the New York Times reported. In another case, former Rep. Jim Kolbe, the only openly homosexual Republican member of Congress, came under investigation by the U.S. Attorney in Phoenix because of a 1996 camping trip he took with two male former pages, both of them 17years-old. MSNBC reported that “One participant, who requested anonymity, said he was uncomfortable with the attention Kolbe paid to one of the former pages. He was ‘creeped out by it,’ he said, adding that there was a lot of ‘fawning, petting and touching’ on the teenager’s arms, shoulders and back by Kolbe.” It is not known what became of the investigation. 7 Republican House Speaker John Boehner (OH), raised funds for Carl DeMaio, a gay Republican congressional candidate. DeMaio, charged with sexual harassment and exhibitionism, was one of the Republican “young guns” getting official Republican money and support. But he also enjoyed the strong support of Fox News personalities, especially Richard Grenell, a Fox News contributor and homosexual activist who advisds his campaign. The Conservative Review called DeMaio a “deviant” and wondered whether the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC) vetted DeMaio before the Republican Party funneled $1 million into his campaign. Grenell is an official of Capitol Media Partners and an open homosexual who appears frequently on Fox News. His areas of expertise include “crisis communications.” Chris Byrne joined Capitol Media Partners after a five-year run as a Senior Producer at the Fox News Channel. Paul Singer’s PAC Fareed Zakaria speaks with panel members Elliott Management founder Paul Singer, Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin and Third Point founder Dan Loeb. The panel on “LGBT rights” was sponsored by The Huffington Post and Microsoft to kick off the second day of the 2014 Davos Annual Meeting. The American Unity PAC, founded by Paul Singer, is described as a federal independent expenditure-only committee (Super PAC) registered with the Federal Election Commission “that is focused exclusively on protecting and promoting candidates for U.S. House and U.S. Senate who support freedom for all Americans, regardless of their sexual orientation.” 8 . A libertarian homosexual activist who favored Ron Paul for president, he supports legalized dope, and quotes Karl Marx is his latest book. Both Thiel and Singer are members of the powerful Managed Funds Association that also includes George Soros. Their influence is demonstrated not only in direct funding for the homosexual movement but grants to conservative organizations which then shy away from the controversy. Conservative and libertarian groups funded by Singer include: The American Enterprise Institute Atlas Economic Research Organization The Claremont Institute The Manhattan Institute Groups directly funded by Thiel include: The Hudson Institute The Ayn Rand Institute The Independent Institute The Acton Institute 13 Homosexual rights organizations supported by Thiel include: GOProud (It has since gone defunct). The American Foundation for Equal Rights The GOProud Board of Directors had included: Christopher R. Barron Bob Carlstrom Lisa De Pasquale Dennis P. Duquette Jimmy LaSalvia Jessica Lee Bruce Carroll Kathryn Serkes The Advisory Board of the American Foundation for Equal Rights includes Robert A. Levy, chairman of the libertarian Cato Institute, and John Podesta, President and CEO of the “progressive” Center for American Progress, as co-chairs. Its advisory board includes: Julian Bond Lt. Romney campaign names on the brief for homosexual marriage included Beth Myers, Romney’s closest aide in the campaign; Ben Ginsberg, the campaign’s lawyer; David Kochel, the campaign’s main strategist in Iowa (where Romney worked hard to win the support of Republicans for whom traditional marriage was a key issue); Katie Biber, the campaign’s general counsel; Lee Rudofsky, the deputy general counsel; and Alex Lundry, a top tech official in the campaign. Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign manager, Steve Schmidt, endorsed homosexual marriage in a speech before the Log Cabin Republicans. On March 19, 2013, the Cato Institute hosted a discussion, “The Growing Conservative Shift on Gay Issues,” with Jimmy LaSalvia, Executive Director, GOProud; Trevor Burrus, Research Fellow, Cato Institute; and Walter Olson, Senior Fellow, Cato Institute. It was moderated by Kelly Cobb, Senior Director of External Affairs, Cato Institute. Robert A. Levy is chairman of the board of directors at the Cato Institute. David Boaz, executive vice president of the Cato Institute and author of The Politics of Freedom: Taking on the Left, the Right, and Threats to Our Liberties, is an open homosexual. 16 A “Gay” Future for U.S. Conservatives? There is a well-funded effort to infiltrate and divide the conservative movement and dump Christian conservatives as a key constituency for the GOP. Grover Norquist, the head of Americans for Tax Reform, has been butting heads with conservatives for years on the matter of global Islam’s aggressive designs on the West, leading some to think he has very close ties to Islamists. It was a surprise, therefore, that he would also publicly signal his surrender in the war to save Western culture and its Judeo-Christian values. Norquist joined Margaret Hoover on the advisory council of GOProud, a so-called “gay conservative” group whose chairman, Christopher R. Barron, has a history of working for “centrist Republicans.” Hoover said on her Facebook page that she was “psyched” to join the group with Norquist and has denied that she is a RINO (Republican in name only). For his part, Fox News Contributor Tucker Carlson was the scheduled dinner speaker at a September 2010 meeting of the Log Cabin Republicans, a group of militant homosexuals who went so far as to file suit against the Pentagon’s policy of excluding open and active homosexuals from military service. Although Carlson has been frequently described as a conservative, he is a fellow at the libertarian Cato Institute, which is not only pro-gay but pro-marijuana and promotes a U.S. foreign policy of withdrawal from much of the world. He edits The Daily Caller, a conservative website funded by Christian millionaire Foster Friess. Both Carlson and Hoover are Fox News Channel (FNC) contributors, with the opportunity to spread their version of conservatism to an audience of mostly conservatives. 17 Hoover has appeared on “The O’Reilly Factor” FNC program to promote President Obama’s proposed repeal of the Pentagon’s homosexual exclusion policy and has written an article for the FOXNews.com website expressing her belief that there is a right to gay marriage in the U.S. Constitution. She sits on the board of the American Foundation for Equal Rights, an organization supported by Hollywood liberals that is committed to gay marriage and the “gay rights struggle.” Tammy Bruce, another Fox News Channel political contributor, was the openly gay chair of the GOProud advisory council and promotes the Independent Gay Forum, a network of so-called gay conservatives and libertarians. Conservatism, however, has always had a moral and social component that emphasized the importance of the Judeo-Christian foundations of the nation. In practice, this has meant opposition to abortion and gay rights and support for the traditional family. Former Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman took to the pages of The Wall Street Journal on November 21, 2012, to make the “conservative case” for backing gay marriage. But there can be no “conservative case” for gay marriage, unless the term “conservative” is redefined as the British Conservative leaders are trying to do. Mehlman, a former lieutenant to Karl Rove, came out of the closet and announced that he was a homosexual in August of 2010. He has since launched a “Project Right Side” to make the “conservative” case for gay marriage. He points to Jennifer Rubin, a conservative blogger at The Washington Post, who has declared that social conservatives have “lost” the battle over gay marriage and should just “move on.” Rubin has also attacked conservative Senator Jim DeMint, who is resigning to take over the Heritage Foundation, in a column headlined, “Good riddance, Mr. DeMint.” Another conservative in the liberal media, George Will, said on ABC’s “This Week” show, “the opposition to gay marriage is dying. It’s all old people.” He had previously endorsed gays in the military and had smeared supporters of the Pentagon’s homosexual exclusion policy as unintelligent. The same “strategy” would also mandate that Republicans should “move on” by abandoning the pro-life cause and opposition to legalization of drugs. That would leave the GOP in the position of running purely on economic issues, in order to draw a contrast with the Democrats. Romney’s stunning defeat is an example of what happens when that strategy is followed. The Independent Gay Forum The Independent Gay Forum was begun by homosexuals who wanted influence in conservative and Republican party circles. One of the key figures in this group is Walter 18 Olson, a senior fellow at the Cato Institute who previously worked at the Manhattan Institute. In 2012, he hosted an event on behalf of homosexual marriage and the host committee featured: Walter Olson and Steven Pippin David Boaz and Steve Miller David and Danielle Frum Jonathan Rauch and Michael Lai Andrew Sullivan and Aaron Tone Andrew Tobias Ted Frank Eli and Kari Lehrer Walter Slocombe David Lampo and Don Lawrence Tim Hulsey and Chris Smith Dave Myers Kelly Young and Bill Reinsmith Sally Satel Veronique de Rugy Andrew Hazlett and Geetanjali Chander John Corvino Jennifer Dossin and David Marshall Howard and Andrea Rich Olson’s “husband,” Steve Pippin, was president of Out Publishing, Inc. A release said, “OUT was founded in 1992 as America's first general-interest gay and lesbian magazine…Out Publishing, Inc., also publishes HIV PLUS, a quarterly magazine devoted to HIV and AIDS research, prevention, and treatment.” The pro-homosexual publication Buzz Feed reported that Howard Rich is “a deeppocketed patron of libertarian causes and conservative politicians…” These include Americans for Limited Government. Rich serves on the board of the Cato Institute. Andrew Sullivan wrote a book titled The Conservative Soul: How We Lost It, How To Get It Back. People can claim to be anything they want to be, but it defies reality to claim that Sullivan, an HIV-positive homosexual who embraces and celebrates the homosexual lifestyle, is a conservative. Sullivan is married to another man. He supported Democrat John Kerry for president in 2004. A self-proclaimed Christian, he spendt some of his book bashing Christian “fundamentalists” who want to protect the institution of marriage between a man and a woman. Jonathan Rauch and Stephen H. GOP Helps Confirm Court’s First (Alleged) Lesbian Elena Kagan was confirmed 63-37 on August 5, 2010 as President Obama’s second nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court. The five Republicans who voted yes were: Senators. Susan Collins (Maine), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Judd Gregg (N.H.), Richard Lugar (Ind.) and Olympia Snowe (Maine). “Kagan will be Supreme Court’s first lesbian” was the provocative headline in the Howard Phillips Issues and Strategy Bulletin before the hearings even took place. The headline was based on an article that appeared briefly on the CBS website that cited Kagan’s open homosexuality and “well known” female partner. White House pressure forced CBS to take the item down. The Kagan hearing did, however, demonstrate that the now-confirmed Justice has a militant pro-homosexual orientation in such matters as opposition to military recruiters on campus because of the Pentagon’s homosexual exclusion policy. Other evidence demonstrated that Kagan is so extreme that she was even committed to acceptance of the so-called transgender legal agenda. The Republican failure to stop Kagan came back to haunt the nation in the tyrannical ruling by federal Judge Vaughn Walker that overturned a vote by the people of California which affirmed traditional marriage by passing Proposition 8. Kagan was an obvious vote on the Supreme Court for overturning marriage between one man and one woman. As was the case of Kagan, there were reports that Walker is a secret homosexual. The San Francisco Chronicle reported, “The biggest open secret in the landmark trial over same-sex marriage being heard in San Francisco is that the federal judge who will decide the case, Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker, is himself gay.” The paper said that many gay politicians in San Francisco and lawyers who have had dealings with Walker say that he “has never taken pains to disguise—or advertise—his orientation.” The Log Cabin Republicans are so Republican that its board voted 22-2 against endorsing President Bush in 2004 because of his stand against homosexual marriage. A current list of Log Cabin (gay) Republican “allies in Congress” included: 21 Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) Senator John McCain (R-AZ) Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) Congressman Mike Coffman (R-CO) Congressman Charles Dent (R-PA) Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA) Congressman Chris Gibson (R-NY) Congressman Michael Grimm (R-NY) Congressman Richard Hanna (R-NY) Congressman Peter King (R-NY) Congressman Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ) Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) Congressman Jon Runyan (R-NJ) Senator John Cornyn and Representative Pete Sessions participated in a September 22, 2010, national dinner/fundraiser in Washington, D.C. sponsored by the Log Cabin Republicans. Illinois Republican Senator Mark Kirk (left) has been reported by a gay activist who specializes in “outing” politicians to be a secret homosexual. Kirk denied the allegation. 22 His ex-wife, however, has offered this unusual denial: “It’s not an accurate explanation that Mark is gay, but nevertheless, that’s how some people choose to reconcile it.” Alan Stang’s incendiary book, Not Holier Than Thou, examined the presence of influential homosexuals or sympathizers in Republican ranks. He named the names. One of them came forward, in a strange sort of way, when Republican Senator Larry Craig of Idaho (right) got caught making a sexual advance toward another man in a bathroom. Gays Infiltrate Conservative Media Marvin Liebman, author of Coming Out Conservative, claims to have founded and nurtured conservative organizations including Americans for Constitutional Action, American Conservative Union, Committee for Freedom for All People, Committee Of One Million, World Anti- Communist League, and Young Americans for Freedom. Fox News anchor Shepard Smith (right) has been able to spout pro-homosexual views on the air, such as when he denounced Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day as the “National Day of Intolerance.” The outburst was triggered by a Chick-fil-A executive speaking out against gay marriage. Smith is said to be dating a young Fox News male staffer. 23 The homosexual magazine Out issued a “Power List,” a list of “the gay men and women whose power and prestige is instrumental in influencing the way Americans think about, and engage with, the world.” The list included Matt Drudge, Drudge Report Creator/Editor, and Shepard Smith, a Fox News anchor. A former conservative who went through a political and sexual breakdown and transformation, David Brock became a liberal and homosexual activist and wrote the book, Blinded by the Right, about how he supposedly twisted the truth to benefit the conservative cause. He says he “dated” Matt Drudge: Source: Blinded by the Right: The Conscience of an Ex-Conservative, a 2002 book written by former conservative journalist David Brock, discusses the dating habits (with men) of Matt Drudge.
