While serious business is a part of the National Convention, it is also a time to renew old friendships and
make new ones – and take some time for fun and relaxation in a beautiful city where history abounds.
Cincinnati has re-invented itself! The city has enough interesting things to see and do that making this a
family vacation would be a fabulous idea (as an incentive, the Netherlands Hotel welcomes children 18
and under to stay in their parents’ room FREE). Cincinnati is the third largest city in Ohio and the
28th largest city in the United States by metropolitan population. Resting along the banks of the
Ohio River, this vibrant region spans three states (Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana).
Cincinnati is a hub for Delta Airlines so travel into and out of the city is easy and convenient (the airport
is 12 miles from downtown). The city is home to the Cincinnati Reds and the Reds’ Hall of Fame, within
walking distance from the hotel. The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is just a couple of
blocks from the hotel and the area is filled with restaurants, clubs, music and museums. The whole
family will love it!
The AAA Four-Diamond Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza has been designed as a National Historic
Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior and is considered one of the finest examples of
French art deco architecture in existence. The beautifully restored hotel (built in 1931) offers all the
services and features you expect from a downtown hotel surrounded by fun things to do and fun places
to explore. The hotel also features The Serenity Bed Package by Hilton and access for all registered
guests to The Gym at Carew Tower.
Of course, we hope your main objective will be to attend the National Convention’s Delegate Reception
on Friday evening and the convention sessions from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The hotel is offering
AMRA’s convention rate for 3 days prior to and 3 days past our convention (depending upon availability)
so you will have plenty of time to spend with the family, enjoy all that the area offers, and still make the
convention meetings. The hotel itself is considered a premier dining destination with its elegant menu
and award-winning chefs - Enjoy 4-star dining at Orchid’s, PC Express and The Grille at Palm Court for
casual dining or cocktails & appetizers at the beautiful Bar at Palm Court. If you prefer to dine out, there
are 20 restaurants within steps of the hotel lobby (Morton’s Steakhouse, Boi Na Braza Brazilian
Steakhouse, Palomino, and Sunny Deli to name a few).

Room rates: Single/Double $125 + 17% tax
Parking: Valet parking $24.00/day – parking available within walking distance of the hotel with prices
ranging from $6.00-$21.00/day.
Hotel check- in time is after 4:00 p.m. – check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Hotel Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made without first night’s room and tax penalty if done before
midnight the day before arrival.
