Cincinnati has re-invented itself! The city has enough interesting things to see and do that making this a family vacation would be a fabulous idea (as an incentive, the Netherlands Hotel welcomes children 18 and under to stay in their parents’ room FREE). Cincinnati is the third largest city in Ohio and the 28th largest city in the United States by metropolitan population. Resting along the banks of the Ohio River, this vibrant region spans three states (Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana). Cincinnati is a hub for Delta Airlines so travel into and out of the city is easy and convenient (the airport is 12 miles from downtown). The city is home to the Cincinnati Reds and the Reds’ Hall of Fame, within walking distance from the hotel. The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is just a couple of blocks from the hotel and the area is filled with restaurants, clubs, music and museums. The whole family will love it! Of course, we hope your main objective will be to attend the National Convention’s Delegate Reception on Friday evening and the convention sessions from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
