Our Social Surroundings Consciousness (SSC) tour aims at inspiring young minds to kindle a selfless fire in their
young hearts! When they see an ocean of activities, they will feel the urge to jump on that one wave which
attracts their liking, and that jump will trigger that leap of their dreams!
SSC is not a luxurious tour; it is an enticing and enchanting journey of losing and finding yourself at the same
time!
It’s ‘Ahmednagar’ this time!
Let’s look into what’s in store:
 Vigyan Ashram: An ahead-of-time abode for academically unsuccessful but creative and innovative
children, by Dr. Kalbag at Pabal where children will participate in various science based activities and
learn a new approach about the correlation between Science and our daily lives.
 Morachi Chincholi: An Agri-Tourism project where children will participate in many infotainment
activities such as farming, bullock cart ride, pot making, kite flying and much more.
 Ralegan Siddhi & Hiware Bazar: The transformed self sufficient villages developed by Shri Anna
Hazare and Shri Popatrao Pawar respectively.
 Sawali: A shelter for 50 underprivileged kids in Nagar – founded by Nitesh Bansode.
 Snehalay: A home for several deprived individuals; an initiative highly appreciated on Aamir Khan’s
‘Satyamev Jayate’.
Also experience: Tank Museum, Ahmednagar Fort, A visit to Shri Pramod Kamble’s art studio, in- house
workshops on history, cooking, shramdaan…and much more….

Sat 11 April
- The bus will depart at sharp 6.30 am from Dadar (Mumbai)
- Breakfast on the way

Terms and conditions:
1. The above tour itinerary is subject to undergo change in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
2. Children studying in standards from 8th to 12th can join.
3. The object of this is ‘to learn’ therefore luxury and comfort will be secondary. However, utmost hygiene will
be maintained throughout the tour.
4. Last date for registration is 31 March 2015.
5. The accommodation arrangements will be in non-ac rooms and on sharing basis.
6. Travelling will be by non ac bus (2 X2).

ending destination as advised by AmrutYatra.
6. That our child will not create any indiscipline/nuisance in the entire trip. In case of any indiscipline/nuisance,
AmrutYatra reserves right to take reasonable disciplinary action against the child.

Special Instructions & Guidelines
For Child
1. This is a unique opportunity for all of you to meet the stalwart personalities during the trip. Make most of it.
Assuming you are aware of the individuals you are going to be introduced, we urge you to do some home work in respect
of the same. ‘Google’ the project names & and you will find much information about the same.
2. Jot down as many questions as possible. Mind well, such personalities would really appreciate if they are asked too
many RELEVANT questions. Please avoid irrelevant and personal questions.
3. We will be spending 2 nights and 3 days together. Carry your clothes, accessories accordingly. Keep your baggage as
light as possible. At times, you should be prepared to carry your own baggage.
4. Dress Code during visits: We recommend decent attire. Avoid jazzy outfits. If you already have sun-glasses and
shoes/sandals, we recommend you wear them during the trip. We do not recommend an exclusive shopping for this trip.
The dress code etc is recommended to maintain a discipline in the trip. You may not carry caps. They will be, anyway,
provided by us.
5. Adhere to the time table suggested by your tour leaders. This will ensure a smooth trip for all of us.
6. Avoid bad / abusive / obscene language during the trip. Address all the dignitaries with respect. Salutations like Kaka,
Dada, Tai, Mavashi, uncle will create an informal relation between you and those personalities. We encourage you to use
them.
7. You may bring books, music, table games like chess for your personal use.
8. Avoid wearing any kind of jewellery. Try to avoid bringing electronic gadgets. If you do, please carry the same at your
own risk.
9. Carry as little cash as possible.
10. Carry your any photo ID proof.
11. Carry your own bath soap and towel.
12. Have fun..!!
For Parents
1. Throughout the trip, the packed drinking water will be provided to the kids. We ensure that food they eat is healthy,
hygienic and tasty.
2. We urge you not to send mobile phone with your child. You can contact us round the clock. Our numbers will be given
to you on the first day of the trip. We will also send messages to each of you every night. Mobile phone with child might
distract him/her from the very purpose of this tour.
3. We will be carrying important medicines and first aid box. If your child has been prescribed any specific medicines, do
send them with your child and make us aware of the same.
4. If your child is prone to any allergy or type of food or any situation which could disturb his physical or mental health,
please make us aware in advance so that we can take utmost care in this regard.
5. If not done earlier, we request you to informally talk to your child regarding uniqueness of this tour and help him
understand the importance of such opportunity.
6. Please do not send child with expensive jewellery, accessories, gadgets, etc.
7. Drop / pickup destinations and timings will be conveyed to you one day in advance.
8. We have tried to provide as many guidelines as possible. If you still need to know something or have some doubts in
mind, please bother us anytime.
