Welcome to our programme of courses and events for
January to April 2015. With our new venue, An Coire, we
are now offering a wider range of courses and events for
you to enjoy. We hope the variety will cater for all interests
and we encourage you to take this opportunity to learn
new skills, gain a qualification or just experience a live
performance at An Coire. We look forward to welcoming
you all again and especially all the first time visitors at the
newly refurbished An Carn and An Coire in 2015.

This course is structured to
teach you the basics about
pottery, skills in how to
work with clay, different
ways of glazing, coiling, slab
building etc. They are ideal
for beginners and for people
with some pottery experience.
The class will also cover how
to throw a pot on a wheel if
participants want to have a go
(one person at a time) and at
the end of the 8 weeks you will
have a few items to take home
with you.
All the materials required are

glazes, electric firings and

The Rural Youth Entrepreneurship
Programme (RYE) is an
entrepreneurship awareness
raising and developmental
programme for young people
aged between 16 – 30 years.
Its focus is on undertaking
outreach activities to engage
young people in disadvantaged
rural areas to consider
the potential of enterprise

self-employment through a

Ash coppicing and Planting in Young Woodland @ Drumnaph
In English. Come along to help manage and diversify the young woods at Drumnaph
Woodland. Learn coppicing techniques and inter planting to encourage a varied structure and
density great for wildlife.

Region Cross Border Group, namely Donegal, Limavady and Magherafelt, is pleased to
announce the NW Healthy Living Training Courses as part of the North West Community
Gardens & Allotments Programme.
Gardening & Green Exercise Programme
FETAC Level 3 Accredited (NVQ Level 1 equivalent). 4-day intensive course. In English.

Participants will learn about the tools, materials and equipment required to grow outdoor vegetables and the stages of ground preparation for vegetable sowing.
